i kinda like the oven, but it's hard to cook things when it thinks the door is open and shuts off. and because this brand new, never been installed oven that i got in august of this year had it's warranty expire last february (you figure out that one...) they want to charge me to fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN

samsung markets this oven as having a ton of great features, and on paper, it does. you can change the top oven into two separate ovens, it has steam cooking which is great for baguettes. it is "like" a european oven.
it does not last. as soon as the warranty goes out, the problems start. we were able to get most of them fixed, but the latest, a code "check (c-a2)" error persists. when you contact samsung, the instruct you to flip the circuit breakers for a minute and restart the oven. that works two times. now, the oven is toast.
and, to boot, they now charge almost twice what we paid for this oven for the exact same model.
do not buy this oven!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the only downside was that it did not fit in the cutout space of my previous double oven even though the spec measurements were the same. i had to pay extra to get them to cut my cabinets.
