Keeps the kids busy !!

They were a little intimidated by how many pieces there were but once we started building & it started to form they were excited. Best part was finishing it & having the car on the roller coaster ! Was worth it !

Roller coaster building set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance this seems like a really cool gift for younger kids because it's labeled 8+ but definitely not for 8 year olds. This is a fun family building opportunity. I would say the age range is probably more like 12+. My son (9) had tried to build this and the instructions just don't make sense at some points. So as a family we sat down three nights in a row and worked out the picture instructions and got the thing running. I say picture instructions but it's kind of a lot to focus on for a younger kid..maybe a super focused into stem building younger kid would be more into it. The one major complaint, other than suggested age range, is that the bags are labeled numerical and the parts are labeled differently so you have to constantly refer back to the parts manifest page to figure out what bag has what ya need.

Good project for older kids..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions are ok for the first half of the build. During the 2nd half they get very confusing and even give the wrong instructions using the wrong parts. Had to help my kid rebuild a couple of times. At the end it still didn't work properly and my child wasn't able to figure it out. I was able to troubleshoot it but even as an adult I barely managed to. Once it was all fixed it was actually pretty cool. Definitely something for someone in their early teens at minimum. It took about 6-7 hours to build and another 2 troubleshooting the track getting stuck. Overall it's a good, fun and challenging stem project to keep the kids busy! I got this set for free in exchange of my review.

Super difficult !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first things first , the instructions were very confusing and difficult to read. There is legit no words on what to do except for “ tips “. It took over 4 hours to build. When I finally got it together we added the chain. No matter what we did the chain would get tangled and caught onto the actual rollercoaster. It is pretty tall. Me and my kids were super excited for it, but it didn’t work out for us. Really disappointed.
