Neat design, but not made well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FOA Schwarz build-a-coaster building set is really neat, but super complicated. It has 736 individual pieces. This set took over four hours to build, and we still can't figure it out. The pieces are very flimsy and break off super easy, some are even hard to get attached. While the instructions were helpful, they were complicated to understand also. But having each bag marked with letters and numbers was definitely a help. There is a motorized piece that takes 2 double AA batteries that aren't included. The chain wraps up around the coaster and through the motorized piece to pull the cars up and around. But, the chain kept breaking off everytime one of the cars went up it. This is a really awesome invention, but it definitely needs to be redone better. Especially the pieces, and trying to get it together without it falling apart. Honestly, unless you have several hours, or all day to put this together and a lot of patience, I would not recommend! It honestly isn't worth the hassle of putting it together for it to fall apart, or not work. My boys were really disappointed, they wanted to play with this so bad but couldn't.

Patience needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You really gotta have a high level of patience to play with this toy. Kids (or adults) who are members of the right now group are going to HATE the FAO Schwarz build a coaster, but if you have patience and you take your time you can build all kinds of fun things. I recommend looking at the instructions and then disregarding them and building your own creation. It's more fun! The directions are crap, the pieces are hard to work with, it's not going to be fun for all kids...but, for the right ones it's Awesome!

And it shows him physics but in real life so I actually love it so I have suggested to my friends and family. And my son loves it, my daughter loves it. I'm so happy, thank you.

Come prepared with patience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You better come prepared with patience! I think all aged kids will need help putting this coaster together. Initially I thought this was a really cool, scientific project to work on for my kids. But it ended up with a lot of help and guidance from you. The pieces are hard to put together and others seem cheaply made. The instructions could have been a bit better in my opinion as well. I am a big fan of Fao Schwarz toys as I’ve purchased many but this one could have been produced better.

Tons of Fun
