Building Set Roller Coaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so first of all I need to say that this Roller coaster is definitely not for a “8” year old to build . My son who is 13 was very frustrated with this and had a hard time figuring everything out (and he is very good with all of this ). It took him days and days to figure out everything and still can’t get the motor to work properly. It is a very good concept but too complicated for kids and maybe even adults .

Very cool, with a caveat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very cool! My daughter absolutely loves it, and has been playing with it ever since we finished. However, I would definitely say this is for an older age group than their target group (8 yrs listed on the box) - I would say this is more for 12+, if they are to have more of a role in putting it together or are doing it solo. There are many intricate, small pieces, and there is a lot of trial and error involved. But all in all, a very fun product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great if you plan on being observant and making sure the pieces aren’t scattered to the four winds! We built it but boy did it take patience and organization. I don’t think a child at suggested age could do it!

Keeps them busy

It can be complicated to build but kids love the challenge and it keeps them entertained for hours. Very stimulating as well as rewarding when your kids see something they built. They can build and rebuild as much as they want too!

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter spent an entire day working on this, so I can’t say it wasn’t worth it, she was preoccupied for hours. However, some of the instructions were not very clear as it’s just pictures and even after 6+ hours of work, it wasn’t finished. She lost interest and it sits on my table almost but not quite done because the instructions are harder than expected. My husband and I had to help several times as some pieces don’t click together well.

So many parts, little to none with directions - HUGE project (don’t recommend)

Firstly, the directions are poorly written and secondly, they're mislabeled. The small bags are numbered, great, so are the sections, but they ask for LETTERED parts and none of them are distinguished by letter. You'd think the bags with numbers would match the sections that are numbered...? Nope. Just small parts with no direction. They're also very hard to snap together, like they dig into your fingers when you push them together. Sooooo many pieces. We finished two and a half levels and gave up. Would not recommend at all.

Fun!
