Struggle bus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Listen we (family) was so excited to put this together this quickly faded. I quickly found out she does not like putting things like roller coasters together she would rather design home interiors or sew smh. I think this is a great stress reliever we got about halfway through she tapped out. I still think it’s great for kids that enjoys building fling and can spend long periods of time focused on task!

Horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So right out of the gate it was awful. The direction make no sense and you can’t make heads or tails of what step is what. The directions tell you what letter go with what letter BUT all the parts bags are NOT lettered they are NUMBERED!! So nothing makes sense. The pictures do not help at all you can’t even figure out the sizes your suppose to use. After about an hour and a half of both me and my 12 year old son trying to figure this thing out we gave up. We we so excited to build this because we both love roller coasters and we couldn’t even forgive out the directions. Do not waste your time or money on this.

Very small piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of small pieces my son got overwhelmed with all the small pieces and lost interest in building the roller coaster. I believe it maybe a little overwhelming with kiddos with ADHD.

Fun idea, doesn’t stay together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were super excited to test out the FAO Schwartz Roller Coaster Building Set. My 11 year old son is a whiz at building Lego, STEM projects, etc. He was happy to be the one to lead the build on this. There are A LOT of pieces that require a bit of sorting. The directions were hard to follow, so my husband stepped in to assist. The connectors don’t keep the pieces together and every time we had to adjust the build, a section would come apart. It took HOURS to get 1/3 of it built. We never got the whole thing together because it was frustrating. We will try again over Thanksgiving break. Hopefully we are able to keep it together long enough to see it work.

Fun but a lot of pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was very fun but the one thing I can say is it was a lot of pieces especially if you have a younger child. In the 8 year old range, my 14 year old. Had some trouble building stuff, I would definitely say that the steps were good. But it's not a loan project. It definitely requires parents help still very, very cool. And it was a lot of fun just took longer than expected and I was kind of hoping that it would give him a project to last for a little bit.

Super cool concept but not age appropriate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this for my kiddo who LOVES building, but I can't begin to tell you how frustrated he was with the instructions. He is 9. This is an awesome family building opportunity though! I'd highly recommend changing the geared age. Pro's: cost, family building, cool factor. Cons: tiny pieces, and generally better with an older kid.
