Great to encourage engineering minds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun set to encourage engineering minds! My daughter loves rollercoasters and she loves building, this was such a fun set for her to build. The directions are simple to follow and she worked so hard to put it together. This takes a good skill level and patients, but the end result is so rewarding. My daughter was so proud of herself and had so much fun playing with this roller coaster.

Great stem toy addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the Fao Schwarz stem toy coaster isn’t just a toy but educational too! My son(9) was able to follow the instructions by himself and had no difficulties figuring out how to make a working coaster. The coaster cars are adorable. He has been testing different versions to see if he can now make his own coaster that will work too. This keeps him busy for hours. I really love that the whole time he is playing, he is also learning without realizing it.

Great for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters are 12 and 7, and the 7 year old loves Lego and everything that needs to be assembled, so I was excited to receive this toy for her. She will spend a lot of time building it with the help of her dad, but she likes the idea! We will wait for my nephew to visit, he’s 10 and obsessed with these types of things, so they’ll have a lot of fun together!

Extremely difficult to build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The details in the instructions are not great. I left my husband while I was out of town for the weekend to build this with my 5 year old and 8 year old boys and it took two days and lots of texts to me complaining about how difficult this was and then after they finally built it only one car works and the other works most of the time but will valley some times out of no where. My husband loves building ikea furniture and legos and anything but the instructions where very complicated. I would not suggest this for a child.

Very hard to assemble and breaks easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted my kids to enjoy this and they did for all of 5 mins. The directions were really hard to read. My 8 year old and my 15 year old were not able to figure out the directions so I had to and I even struggled. It took way too long and then when it was together it ran for a few minutes then the carts kept getting stuck because of the chain. I tried to loosen and tighten by taking and adding links and it still kept catching. I may have put it together wrong somewhere but like I stated earlier the directions were hard to read at some points. Would not recommend.

Fun family activity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is labeled for 8 & up. I have 9 years old who struggles putting the lives together. An adult is definitely needed for certain parts. This is a great activity to do together as family on the weekends! It will require a lot of time building but if you work as team you can get it done. They pieces itself seem very durable and well constructed.
