So fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Plasma Orb. We took the kids to the Detroit Science Center and they loved the Plasma Ball Exhibit so much we had to have one. Works perfectly and even our kitties cannot resist touching it! Very pleased, the kids love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Orb for the grandkids to play with, but the adults seem to enjoy it more than the kids. We have played with this for hours. We all seem to go back and play more. We love the sound feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This orb is great!! We put this in my “science minded” 5 year old grandson’s room. He became fascinated with watching it and now is trying to figure out how it works!! This would be a great unique gift for anyone!

Great learning tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three and five year old children love this orb. They are fascinated by the lightning in a bottle aspect of it and their minds are blown by what it can do. Important to remember that contact should only last 5 seconds. A very fun addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children, and let us be honest, myself love this. It’s beautiful, it’s fun! There was no set up you just plug it in and enjoy. And we are enjoying it! It reminds me of a huge one the AZ science center had when I was a kid. So fun.

Fascinating for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I LOVE Discovery products! They are always well made, educational and fun for kids! This Plasma Orb is no exception! Plug it in with the enclosed 12V power adapter and its on! No charging
necessary. Immediately a blue and pink light emits. There is also an option for it to only react to sound, your voice, music etc. Place your hand on the orb and the light gets brighter wherever you touch it. Move your finger around and the bright light follows you! My kids were fascinated by this and the oldest has it on at night in his room! I would definitely highly recommend this product!

Fun for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember having one of these when I was younger so I was excited to show my kids. They have both really enjoyed playing with it. The sound sensor is a nice feature so that the waves move to sounds in addition to when you put your hand or finger on it.. The only issue is that they fight over who gets to have it in their room so I will probably end up buying another one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is big on science. She was really excited to get this plasma ball and had wanted one for so long. It plugs up into the wall and with a little switch you can turn it on. She loves turning off the lights and touching it. I will say that the globe is really fragile so you have to be careful with it. All in all this has been a great addition to any science lovers collection.
