Love this lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this lantern in place of a wall night light. My kids live laying there and looking at the stars. It does take their kind off of its Not the TV. We try and stray from tv at bed time. And this sure helps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loves to have a dance party in her room at night. Can have a solid color or mix colors to go with the holiday's. It can rotate or be still. Blink or not blink. They only down side is it is hard for her to fall asleep if the lights are rotating.

They play with it but it also doubles as a night light. I reccomend this product to use as a night light or playtime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my boys would love this little starlight lantern either to play with while catching lightening bugs or to sit in their room. So far they have done both with it! They love looking at the stars on the walls and ceiling as they are going to sleep. It's not very bright outside but they dont seem to care. Would probably work really well in a tent camping. We plan to go soon and take this with us for them. It's perfect size for them to carry it around, not heavy at all. The turn dial doesn't seem like it will last, feels cheaply put together there. Only time will tell. As of now my boys love this and I will have to pick up a second one so there is no fighting. Ha
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids LOVE this! Dare I say it is their new favorite thing. They carry it around most of the day. If it's too bright where they cant see the stars when they want to they find a dark area. I love laying on their floor with them and pointing out consolations. They use it at bedtime and I must admit, I found myself relaxing with them almost falling asleep myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lantern for my children. I got it because we have a storm cellar and we have our own lantern in case we need to go down in there. I thought this would be good for them because it makes it fun and gives them something to hold also. For now, they use it in their rooms at night. They love that it has stars that come out of the light. Its a very bright lantern. Perfect for camping, playing or in our case a storm shelter plan!

The stars shining on the ceiling is really cool and they had a blast pretending they were camping out in their rooms. This would be fun to bring along on an actual camping trip as well. It works both as a lantern and shining constellations on the wall!

Discovery Kids Starlight Lantern Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discovery Kids Starlight Lantern was a very sad disappointment for my son. He was extremely happy and excited when he saw the box! More when we unpackaged it. Made a trip to the store for new batteries after the ones that were in our home would not light up the lantern at all. They were new, still in package. Thought possibly bad batteries. After purchasing a second package of batteries new, the lantern still would not work at all. Turning it, there is a click were it is supposed to turn on and light. We definitely were turning it on correctly, read instructions. Unfortunately after trying two new packages of batteries, two occasions, two stores, the lantern does not work. Our son was sadly disappointed. I hope this is not something that has happened with other children. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident.
The lantern is cute but does not work. I am always honest with my reviews, take pride and passion in them. It is my honor, because it gives me the opportunity to help others, make a difference in our world, lives of others. The many, many reviews others have given that I read about products, unbelievable how many times, how many purchase decisions have helped my life, reflective to my precious gift, my family!
