It doesn’t spin or anything. Just sits.
The constellations are cool, but they kind of appear over the globe.

Perfect nightlight

My four year old was so excited when I opened the box he yelled, “Mommy got us the world!” Both of my boys spun it and looked for where we lived and other locations around the world. Then I switched to night mode for the constellations and they immediately insisted it become their new nightlight. It has lived on their dresser ever since!

So neat! Makes learning fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 yr old boys have been loving this (and so have I!) it's peaked their interest in learning about the Earth and Space.
I LOVE the automatic nightlight that looks like our own night sky.
I love the option to either plug in or use batteries.
It's a nice sturdy weight and structure but not too heavy.
The colors are nice and vibrant and it spins easily.

It's not a normal globe it's a “cool” globe 😊

Such a cool globe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been loving this 2 in 1 globe as it is a great teaching tool for the kiddos. We love that you can spin it 360 degrees and when it lights up the kids shout with excitement. It serves as a great night light and is so awesome.

It’s neat, but not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this so I could introduce it to my pre-k class. It is super neat, and got my students more interested in the globe and space. However, it’s advertised that it would glow and be a representation of what astronauts see in space in regards to city lights, etc. but from what I can see that is not the case. All you see are constellations and stuff like that, which is still great and interesting, but not necessarily what I was expecting to see. Also, the fact that it has to be super dark in the room should be more visible. I thought that I could just plug it in, and turn it on, and we’d be able to see the lights. My classroom is almost never dark, so I had to put it in the bathroom for the kids to see the lights.

SO cool that it has an auto LED turn on to show the Star Constellations in the dark/night.
One thing, of course, is that the star don't transition, as they do in the real nighy sky, throughout the year.

Great educational toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This globe is very cool! I love that it has a light up constellation feature! The colors are bright and vibrant. You can choose to plug it in or use batteries. The constellation only works when it’s dark. The only thing I would changed is to allow the globe to rotate further up and down so you can see southern most countries and oceans a little better. Overall this is an excellent item! Both fun and educational! My children are 1.5 years and 11 years old and they both enjoy this globe.
