Good overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this globe is nice - the texture of the globe itself feels really soft to the touch (like a matte smooth finish). The illustration looks great, it turns smoothly, and the light up feature makes it look really nice at night. I think the stand could be a little heavier/substantial, but it’s fine and does the job. My only gripe is that it requires 4 C batteries AND plugs in (one is so it lights up, the other is for the sensor so it can light up automatically). I wish it was one or the other, and not BOTH batteries and plug in. But other than that, it’s a really nice product and a great way to teach your kids about the world! My son loves it!

Great globe for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 2 in 1 Earth globe in exchange for my honest review. I love this globe! It cam be used both plugged in or by battery. When the ambient lighting is dimmed you can see the night sky as a nightlight on the globe. The globe is helping my kids understand distance more than a map alone.

Pretty Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is pretty cool and educational. My son loves to try to play with the night option and shut out all of the lights. It can work with power or batteries, which is always pretty nice with kids to have that option. He’s loved looking through it and finding new countries.

Day to night globe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The globe is based on sending light of day, or light in a room. During the day, or when it is light in the room, the globe shows all the countries, as expected. When it detects it is night, or dark in the room, then it illuminates with the constellations, which are fun to look at. This is an automatic light detection, so you leave the glove plugged in (or “on” with batteries), and it will automatically adjust. You can turn it to “off” if you don’t want the light up constellations to automatically turn on. Cool concept on a globe that I have never seen before. My kids love looking at.

Useful educational toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The globe was a perfect and age appropriate gift for my 9 year old son. Colors are vibrant and it looks like a good quality product. As soon as it arrived the whole family sat around it and we looked up all the places we've been to - so much fun! Absolutely love that it has a light sensor that automatically illuminates the globe when it gets dark. Looks great with light on or off. The globe show the constellation patterns in dark mode.

Fun and educational

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Incentivized] I'm so happy to share with you my thoughts on this amazing product that we got from Influenster: the Discovery 2 in 1 globe light. This is a wonderful educational tool for my home schooled kids, who love to explore the world and the stars. My 9 year old is fascinated by geography and enjoys learning about different countries and cultures. This globe light is perfect for him, because it shows not only the continents and oceans, but also the constellations when it's dark. It has a sensor that automatically switches on the light when the room is dark, and turns it off when it's bright. It also comes with an adapter, but you can use batteries if you want to take it anywhere, like camping or in their fort. The kids have it in their bedroom, but we also use it in our school room when we study. This is such a fun and interactive way to learn about our planet and the universe. Thank you Influenster!
