[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to review. My son is 10 and obsessed with learning about the globe and the world. He asked for a globe for Christmas and we put it off. We got this and he loves it!!! It not only tells major cities in each state or countries but at night the constellations light up around the world with the exact stars. He unplugged his last nightlight and now this will replace it. It can use wall plug in or batteries so you have options.

My son is one who loves facts and learning, and so far he has really taken to exploring the countries, as well as the constellations. Globe day and night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A perfect learning activity about our earth but the bad side you have to put batteries and on a constant charge. I just use like a regular globe but you can use it like a night light.

Educational and comforting

My four year old daughter and I sat and saw where we live, where we have traveled on vacation, where we will be going on vacation. She loved running her finger the path we'll take and seemed to really start to understand more about geography. She thought it was so neat that when the lights went off the sensor activated the star consolations. She slept with the globe in her bed as a night light. It puts off a very dim light and was perfect to help her sleep better at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are in love with this globe. Its not bright enough to show on ceiling or wall but is bright enough to use as a nightlight. I really love that you can plug it into wall or add batteries. Also has a switch that you can turn on and it will auto turn on when it gets dark enough in the room.
