Great temperature control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found other slow cookers to overcook or undercook. This mutli-cooker has great temperature controls. In the week since I purchased this cooker, I have roasted a chicken, slow cooked short-ribs, made yogurt and bourbon chicken.

I won this multi-cooker and I wasn't sure what I was unwrapping but once I used it, I was hooked. I love that I can sear a pot roast then cook it in the same pot. No messy skillet to wash. Almost anything I could cook on the cooktop, can be done in the multi-cooker and I don't have to keep wiping down the cooktop. I've tried a couple of the recipes that I downloaded and they are real winners. I do wish that it had a real cookbook with it. When I go to a potluck, I just lift the bowl out, put on the lid and away I go. What a breeze to clean with the no-stick finish. The controls are easy to operate either manually or timed. This is the best thing I've ever won.

Works like a charm with great ease! I am looking forward to the stirring arm accessorie. I have not received that yet.
My only concern is that the insert pot is already chipping and I only use plastic utensils. I will monitor as the days go by. I use it twice a week, so I will know soon if the chipping stops.

I love this new cooker, it's not a slow cooker, or a braiser or a Dutch oven it's all this and more. It's a do all cooker. My only complaint is I wish they made a larger size

Insert Chips Easily

I purchased this product last fall with the stirrer attachment. Love the appliance! Unfortunately the insert does not hold up well. The top has several chips where the coating appears to be coming off. I've always hand washed it and am disappointed it's not holding up.
