Follow-up review for Multi Cooker (1st review Nov 3, 2015)

I was quite happy when Kitchenaide offered to replace my chipped interior pot. BUT SADLY the newer one has also failed... ANOTHER CHIP ON THE FINISH. I have exercised extreme care when using this new pot (No more than 6 times, silicone utensils and hand washing!). I own other Kitchenaide appliances large and small and am SOOO disappointed in the QUALITY of this item!!! I sure wish I had returned this pot after first fail!

Hi i bought this on amazon and had such high hopes. i use only kitchen aid silicon utensils with this product to prevent scratching the ceramic pot. Unfortunately the product comes with a metal lid which has scratched up the pot badly. It also comes with a metal steamer basket that scratches up the inside of the pot. This product is no longer functional for me as i don’t like using scratched or knicked cookware for heath reasons. The inside pot needs to be replaced.

Works well, but paint on the pot comes off aftersecond use!!

I bought this about two months ago, I am a loyal Kitchen Aid costumer (My whole kitchen appliances are Kitchen Aid) I love the quality of their products. I have to admit that this slow cooker was a disappointment... It works well but the paint on the bottom of the pot started to come off after the second I time I used it... For this price I think KitchenAid should fix this issue with the pot...

Tephlon coating

Apparently, the ceramic coating is Teflon although customer service representatives denied it at the time of purchase. Disappointed, as I choose not to use Teflon coated cookware.
I've used this multi-cooker several times in the 3 weeks that I've had it and it's performed really well. Much easier to use than I thought it would be. The soup setting is excellent and it walks you through the steps of the process. Homemade applesauce came out great. The rice setting was a little disappointing. It came out dry and was just starting to burn on the bottom at the end of the cycle. I can make better rice on the stovetop with a regular pot. Other than that small complaint, I love it.
