[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This multi cooker with stir tower is great. I have used it 3 times a week since purchase a month ago and love it. Very easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, not great

Wanted to wait until I used this cooker for a while before posting a review. I love some of the features on this cooker, I just baked a cake of all things, and I also find it really beautiful on my counter-top. Make sure to measure for your own counter space, it is quite large with the stir tower. The stir tower works great for some things such as sticky rice. steamed veggies and risotto, but you still need to move the food contents manually a great deal of the time. I usually use the manual function because the presets don't seem to work as well for me. The function modes are too cumbersome and require you to keep pushing start button. I am disappointed there is no cookbook!! You used to be able to download one, now that is gone too. Also, my emails to KitchenAid won't go through, keeps bouncing back "undelivered". I am questioning this company!!

I love my multi-cooker, but . . . . .

I absolutely love my KitchenAid Multi-Cooker, but I am concerned about the peeling of the black layer on the insert pot liner. My unit is peeling underneath the insert pot liner and also on the inside of the insert pot liner where the stir tower attaches. I have only used the unit a hand full of times and I am very careful when using and cleaning the insert pot liner. Would be considered defective?

Home Cooking Precision

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Eleven cook modes with selectable cooking ranges scored over the use of my stovetop which require attending several thermometers, two burners, and a timer to achieve similar precision that the one display provided on the KitchenAid Multi-Cooker with Stir Tower accessory–which scored an assist for hands free convenience. Being new to using a multi-cooker I was amazed how simple it was to sauté, stir, sear, sauté and stir again, then cover and slow-cook a recipe from the KitchenAid Multi-Cooker Cookbook. And served on my first attempt a delicious meal of Chicken Cassoulet that surpassed juggling stovetop skills I am more familiar with. Needless to say my wife loves it as well and thanked me for adding it to the kitchen. I love all KitchenAid finishes. They cleanup so easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried to use it for the first time today. Following the quick start instructions or poring over the manual fails to produce the simple information of what the status lights mean. They flash or they stay on, they go off... they alternate with the one on the stirring tower. But there's nothing to tell you that its not working until you check it an hour later and find the contents are still cold. The thin stainless steel rim on the lid has already drawn blood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and have really enjoyed it's ease of use. I have seared beef, made chicken soup, steamed asparagus, all in this multicooker. I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase it. Worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this multi cooker but the stir tower is the best part !!! I did not give this 5 stars because
1) cooking rice using the stir tower accumulates next to the blades even when using the recommended amounts.
2) the preset setting for rice burns the onions during step 1 It is way too hot
3) the handle of the cover gets so hot even when on simmer that you have to use a pot holder
4) the stir tower is very noisy
I would recommend this to a friend!
