Rest coffee taste

Okay I’m tired and sleepy in the morning so when my husband bought this coffee maker I thought it was to much ‘theatre’ for the morning, but...
It makes great coffee and is quick!
Things I did to make cleaning life easier
1. I just use lavazza gold fine ground as I don’t have a grinder and it was to much work to go to the store that grinds
2. I ditched the cheese cloth filter hard to clean and with fine ground you don’t need it
3.I don’t weigh the coffee. 4 scoops from scoop/ brush provided or 5 scoops if you want it stronger
It makes great coffee and is quick!

Simple to use, makes clean and tasty brews. But I’ve had 2 of these and each one the plastic on the kettle lip has cracked and warped so I can’t put the siphon brew unit on them any more. :(

I have used this brewer for a month and the family are very happy enjoying the full bodied flavor coffee it makes. It is easy to use with the bonus of the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the house.We have experimented with different coffee brands and found that even using the more expensive coffee bean brands it is more economical than pods. This brewer makes a vastly superior tasting coffee than a pod machine and is more environmentally friendly. Cleaning is not an issue with coffee residue added to our compost bin. We love our KitchenAid coffee mate!

Am enjoying using the product and it makes a good cup of coffee. In my view the filter could be better designed as it has dislodged more than once leaving the jug full of grounds but all told a stylish addition to my kitchen.
