Love the phone

Great flagship phone with one minor dissapointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this phone. The screen is beautiful, it has an amazing audio jack, overall great phone. If there is one gripe I have, it would be the camera. The selfie is not good, but I'm not really into selfies so I'm fine with that. The main rear camera is good, but not as good as HTC U11, Google Pixel, etc. Other flagship phones do better job with the main camera. The V30 rear shooter is good and the manual mode helps, but a lot of times you just want to point and shoot, and other flagships get better results. Perhaps a software update can help with auto mode? The bright spot as far as the camera is concerned is the wide angle lens, you can grab some pretty cool pictures with the wide angle that other phones just can't do.
If audio is very important and you need to drive big headphones this is the best phone out there. The headphone jack has plenty of power to drive high impedance headphones much better than any other phone. Especially with other flagships ditching the headphone jack entirely. I really appreciate LG keeping the headphone jack and making it a high priority.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the phone about a month ago while on vacation cause my G4 bricked after getting wet. I've been a G man from the beginning but did research on the V line and decided to go with the V30 over the G6 because it has everything I think the G6 should have had. OLED display, wireless quick charge, quad DAC, and more all in one. The V30 is a good large screen but light everything you need phone.

I find the rear camera setup really functional and the phone sounds great with headphones. I look forward to learning more about shooting in manual mode and understanding all the options available.
