Love the DAC

I'd say the best feature for me is the DAC, not the best out there but keeps everything in one package and up to date. The screen is really nice on this phone too and is a massive battery saver when reading books or manga on breaks at work. A good all round device and a great size with the large screen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the speed and features of my V30. After using it for 3 weeks I find it to be much more than I expected. It is really a music player that by-the-way is a Phone with great features. While listening to the songs I have heard for years, I hear sound that I never know were there and riffs that have never heard. Totally blown away. I chose LG for this very reason. I inserted my micro SD card and all my tunes were there and ready to play. All I needed to do is organize them into playlists. OK so music is not the only thing it does well. I come from a background of iphone and Samsung. The LG is wonderfuI. I thought it was too expensive but, glad I bought this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this a couple months now, and it has been great. In the last few days, however, it's been simply amazing.
Thanks to the concert microphone and amazing video, I was able to capture a heavy metal concert (I Prevail) with astounding audio and video. Concert audio quality on any other phone is blown-out and terrible. Not worth showing to anyone. But my videos on the LG V30 have clear audio and beautiful video -- despite the deafening noise and dim concert hall.
However, my V30 earned this review yesterday with its battery life. I traveled for Thanksgiving. I left my home at 2:45am with a full charge. Used my phone to navigate to the airport, spent the next 8 hours on planes and in airports, had Thanksgiving dinner, and fell asleep without charging the phone. Woke up with 30% left. I was shocked. In all fairness, I charged the phone for about 5 minutes at an airport for about 3% battery gain, but, overall, the phone lasted 28 hours on basically 1 full charge -- with 30% to spare!
And, of course, everything else about the phone is great. Great camera, strong professor, having a headphone jack, the quad DAC, overall design. Regarding the design, props to the curved front and back. Not nearly as dramatic as Samsung's. Perfect sized gap on the sides of the phone -- preventing phantom touches. And screen protectors go on easily and stay on!
Phone does have small software bugs. Freezes more than previous phones I've owned. Also completely forgets WiFi passwords, rather frequently for new networks. But a restart or simply ignoring the message usually resolves the issue.
I have had Samsung phones since the S3, but LG lured me away with the V30. It is going to take a lot to convert me back. LG, advertise this phone more! You've built the best phone of 2017!
