[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have written a few reviews on the V30 so far - and they are all positive. I have owned the phone since 10/5/2017 and have not experienced any issues of any kind.
When people ask me about the V30 here is what I typically say:
1 - Battery is GREAT - lasts all day with heavy use.
2 - Camera is unbelievable - and it works great.
3 - The screen is fantastic - looks great - I think it is the best display on the market.
4 - It has all the settings you will need to customize your phone.
5 - It is fast and responsive.
6 - The Phone works great as a Phone (Everyone seems to forget the phone part).
7 - The WiFi works great - not all smartphones have good radios in them for WiFi.
8 - Feels great - easy to hold - looks great - nice and light.
9 - Fast charge works great - wireless charging works great.
10 - It has the best / fastest fingerprint reader on the market - I have tried them all.
When people ask me about the V30 here is what I typically say:

I could go on - but I am sure you get the point by now - DO NOT be misled by some of the inaccurate press the V30 has been receiving. For Example: you may hear "The App Drawer is missing...." this is incorrect. You can have the App Drawer or other home screen configurations. The V30 is very customizable and you do not need to buy any additional software to do it. I love the V30 - it is a GREAT device. You cannot go wrong.

Solid phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything works great, and is a joy to have. A couple times right after I got it there was some touch non-detection, but it cleared up after an update and hasn't been an issue since.
The camera is great, and the wide angle lens is a neat feature to have. Battery life is a major upgrade from my last phone (S6), and is plenty to get me through the day.

High Default Data Usage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The default settings for apps include using cellular data in the background. I found out the hard way when my data was being eaten up. It's a good thing there's a way to turn off the background data through the settings. There are great customized settings for tailoring this device to my needs. The still camera has great manual controls but still needs work on the quality and the fact that it doesn't have depth of field (bokeh) capabilities. On the other hand, the video camera works great! Oh, and I like the fact that it is much smaller and lighter than the previous models.

Best phone of 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are tired with phone companies telling you what YOU want, then the LG V30 is what you need. This phone is the answer to all of the features that the consumers have been asking for. Water resistance, wireless charging, "bezle-less" front, Headphone Jack & DAC, fingerprint sensor, OLED screen, USB-C, HD recording, wide-angle lens, and the list goes on. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the screen displaying solid colors evenly at low brightness, but if this is the only problem with this phone I will be more than satisfied with the purchase.

I'm in love with my phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone ticks all the boxes: Daydream-ready, beautiful and large OLED display, small bezel, elegant design, great performance, dual lenses, full-featured camera and video software, high quality audio, headphone jack, USB-C, and resistance to water, dust, and impact. I wasn't blown out of the water by the interface at first, but it's highly customizable and set up just the way I want it now.

Solid phone on all levels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the LG V30 for just over a month now and am overall loving the experience. The phone is very quick and well designed. LG does a good job at sticking fairly close to stock android. All hardware choices they made are excellent. One quip thus far is that the phone does freeze up sometimes and the camera is extremely slow to start. I've missed many shots because of this. It's a shame because the camera is a great piece of hardware and takes fantastic photos. I'm hoping this will be addressed with the Android oreo update in the coming months.

What an amazing phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LGV30 about a week after it came out, I can not elaborate enough on how amazing it is! Was a little disappointed about no 2nd screen, but with the introduction of the always on screen it is no problem at all. It runs perfectly great and has an amazing battery life that retains as long as you charge it at 0% and leave it off until it's at 100%!
