Excellent Smartphone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from an LG G6 to LG V30. Reason I stayed within LG is because the LG G6 was a great Smartphone. Prior to the LG G6, I never have owned an LG Smartphone. I have had a smartphone of some kind for over 12 years. Mainly owned HTC and Samsung and Apple Iphone many years ago. It is pretty cool to see how far Smartphones have come in the last decade.
I truly believe the LG V30 is very sharp looking. Great pictures and the wide angle shots are so good, I do not think I can go to a Smartphone not offering this feature.
The headphone jack plus the Quad DAC is a sweet option and is what made me upgrade from G6 to V30. LG please keep the headphone jack in future models.
The battery life is great, display and the Android OS runs smooth.
I do not have any complaints and will continue to enjoy this Smartphone.

Great Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase when first available in U.S. and loving out from day one. I feel like I was in the dark ages with my previous phone.
The camera is great and really like being able to access with a a simple tap of the column tab.
Movement from the to page is simple and clairity of the screen is great.

Feature rich amazing phone

I've used iPhones and Galexies in the past but the v30 is by far the nicest one I've used. Quick processor and great feature functions make this a joy for every day use. The quick charge time makes sure I'm always ready to go.

Multiple kids movies on a charge

CHARGING: I like the fast charging with the supplied charger. I don't like that I think it's slower to charge if I'm using my left over 2A wall chargers than my previous LG G3. It might be the wireless charger that I have but wireless charging is useless to me because it's so sensitive to positioning and so much slower than the QC3 charger that it's not worth the convenience. I plan to try a more reputable Qi charger in the future.
CAMERAS: Side by side with my wife's G3 (which is still, in 2017, a very capable phone) the V30 shines. Better color, better shutter speed, better low light, faster multi-shot, native slo-mo... it's a clean sweep.
BATTERY: I'll couple this subject with SCREEN because the two are related being that this is LG's first OLED screen and I'm baselessly attributing the long lasting playback of multiple movies (for the kiddos) to that OLED screen.
