Only had it for a couple of months now, but love this phone. I had a Droid Turbo 2 before this one, and man what a difference. Same Android operating system, but feels much more durable, and has a 2 year factory warranty!
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has a superb screen; easy to hold and view due to non-edge (thank you god), easy to use and super accurate fingerprint scanner, awesome earphone Dac, with an incredibly useful wide angle camera. Best phone I have ever had. The only issue that prevents me for giving it 5 stars is that there is no LED notification light. I do not know why LG refuses (not on G6 either) to add this really neat convenience factor, when this is supposed to be a full fledged flagship phone (some people do not want to use always on - can drain battery, or look cluttered). Second Con is that the super sexy glass back scratches way too easily. This means you have to get a case that covers up the awesome design, or risk a clear case, that always ends up getting a grimey yellowish colour after a short period of time. To make this the perfect phone, LG could make the body from metal (increasing drop and scratch durability) and add a multi-colour notification light. absolutely 100% rate this phone over any other Android device out right now.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The primary reason for purchasing this phone was the quad DAC. After watching several reviews on Youtube, I pulled the trigger on it. I was very happy with the DAC and pleasantly surprised at how great the screen was. It's much brighter in daylight, worlds better than the HTC 10 gave up. You really can't go wrong with this phone. Great screen, great camera, superb video recording, and a headphone jack with sound that blows everyone else out of the water. It's refreshing that a company recognizes that stripping features from a phone isn't courageous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone the first week it came out and have been in shock and aww. Amazing quality picture and video. I love the finger print access feature it makes opening phone and apps quick and easy. With Verizon service I have service everywhere and never drop calls or run into data issues. Overall a great phone I would highly recommend :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone for the free stuff but wow! What a high tech piece of equipment. The Audio , video and recording are as good as they get.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone due to its quad DAC. i use it to drive a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm headphones. most phones would not be able to handle these with any decent volume if at all. the lg V30 outputs great power for a phone with a nice crisp responsive natural sound. The screen is also killer with the edge to edge making the phone look bigger than it feels in the hand. Always on clock is another great feature i`m glad to have.
cons. very slick in the hands and VERY easy to drop with no case on it. (even for me coming of of an HTC one M8 this phone is slick.)
The built in speaker also leaves a lot to be desired. its a bit tinny and not very loud with poor projection.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The V-30 is my second LG smartphone (first was the V-20) after being a Samsung user. LG has done well with the V-30 by switching to an OLED screen using minimal bezels. The V-30 is a beautiful device with features that out pace the others.

The most complete flagship phone on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone just a little over a month ago and I have been extremely happy with this phone so far. No screen burn in issues, and the blue tint only appears when viewing 15 degrees +- from perpendicular. I upgraded to this phone from an HTC OneM8, so the upgrade in screen quality was very noticeable. While trying to decide what phone to use, I considered a whole host of other flagship android phones and here is a breakdown on why I chose this phone over the Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8, and Google Pixel 2 XL.
Screen: Smaller bezels than the Pixel, not a rounded edge type screen like the Galaxy S8+. Not having the edge of the phone be part of the screen is a plus to me, I don't like how it looks and I like an inert part of the phone to hold while operating the rest of the touchscreen.
Storage: the V30 has expandable SD storage, the rest do not. I could care less about unlimited original quality cloud storage for two years.
Audio: the V30 includes a headphone jack, and has the capability to output the highest quality sound out of any phone on the market right now by a huge margin.
Software: The Pixel wins this one. I wish the other android phone manufacturers would give the options to update to newer versions of android if they are being provided by google.
Convenience: I don't know why Samsung is allergic to placing their fingerprint sensors near the middle of the back of the phone, but at least LG gets it right. The v30 also had as good or better dust/water resistance than the competing phones I was considering.
The two year warranty, free Google Daydream and giftcard sufficiently sweetened the pot. I am a happy customer.
