Features and battery life!

Simply an excellent phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my V30 for several weeks now and I couldn't be more pleased. It's just a great phone. It's fast and does a nice job of staying out of the way when that's what I want. By that, I mean that if I want to check emails, browse the web, watch a video, I can do all of those things quite seamlessly without having to struggle with the phone's interface to accomplish the task I'm trying to do. For much of what I use a phone for, the more transparent the function of the actual phone is, and the more I can direct my attention to the matter at hand, the better I like it. The physical design of the camera is almost a metaphor for its unobtrusiveness in daily use. All you're aware of when you use it is the screen. It's all business, with barely a hint of a bezel and discretely located hard buttons where needed. So both functionally and physically, you can largely ignore the hardware and just do what it is you want to do.
A good exception to this is the camera. Here, I want more than a passive device. I own a couple of good digital SLRs and even still have a couple of film SLRs (although I haven't used those in a while). I like a phone camera that lets me have some of the control over images that I can get with an SLR but in a much more portable, carry-everywhere package. This phone has that. You can certainly simply point and shoot but you can also engage the camera more actively to tailor your results. For me, that's a big plus and one of the things that attracted me to this phone.

Love the camera

User Friendly and Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone about a month ago when it first came onto the market. I like it because it operates much like my previous LG phone, so there was no long time for me to learn the phone. I really like that there are so many options to personalize things to operate or display on the way in which you want them to. The fingerprint scanner is on point. Works every time. That being said, the amount of security on this phone is great. I don't have to worry if I leave it out somewhere, and if I lose it, it would be pretty difficult to access my personal information in the phone. I love the size of the phone with the new rounded screen and that it still has a headphone jack. The thing I like most about it is that I had an accident where it fell into a clean toilet (yuck) and was completely submerged for about 2 seconds and it was still fully functional. I was freaking out!! I had no idea it was waterproof, especially since it sill has a headphone jack. How did they do that?

I made a great purchase I knew it would be a great buy from the moment I seen it now that I have it I love it every thing that I did with my fg4 worked good but the lv 30 is even greater good buy.

LG V30 - Best Flagship Phone of 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's true the LG V30 [replaced] my expensive Digital Audio Player (DAP) with its built-in DAC, [replaced] my Camcorder with its LOG recording and fast swapping SD card and [replaced] my DSLR with LG's easy and extensive manual controls and wow that wide-angle camera. Heck it even has a built-in FM radio. Oh yeah and add it's an excellent smartphone with WiFi and advanced calling. All presented in a light, beautifully designed near bezel-less color accurate 6" OLED screen with an incredible battery life .. I could go on...
