Awesome well balanced phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the phone for over a month now, it has never disappointed me. The sound and video is definitely the highlight. There are phones out there that do certain things better (except audio), but nothing that is this balanced for the price.

V30 - As good as any iPhone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been an iPhone user for many years and switched to this LG V30 because of the advanced audio features offered. I think iPhones may be a bit easier to use for non-savvy users and this V30 android based phone is more for an experienced smartphone user.
Thank you for adding MQA playback capability to the bundled music player but most of the advantages of playing MQA files is the streaming benefits. No mobile software for the V30 currently supports MQA hi-res MQA streaming so I would ask that LG please push Tidal to finish their android build that supports MQA streaming.

Best Phone I Have Ever Owned!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this the day it became available at Verizon as I was closely following all the reviews of the pre-release ones given out to "techie testers" & "reviewers and thought "this is the best (for me at least) that will be soon out.
I do a lot of photos and video when out in the field, literally and figuratively in forests, hills, along creeks, scenery, wild life, pets, and our many activities. I also do live streaming on Facebook, YouTube and others and "teach" & guide viewers and followers about "all of life", hence I needed a versatile, tough, and very capable phone. The V30 Fits The Bill For All That & More! As we are very active and involved, no camera would do as so often "our hands are full" and needed for aggressive hiking and climbing and "doing". Also I need something that I can VERY QUICKLY "GRAB & SHOOT" (again, both video and still photos).
This is my 1st LG phone as I have used others (HT, Samsung, Motorola, etc.). There is a slight "learning curve" going from another brand BUT THIS PHONE IS WORTH IT!
Besides the great camera, the call quality is excellent. The sound is GREAT and the reception is too!
To be honest, at this time I could not fault anything nor offer any suggestions to make the phone better.
I guess "that says it all" about the LG V30: It Is GREAT!

PROS:
Super fast charging,
Long lasting battery life,
Crystal clear sound quality,
Good screen size with curved edges,
Phone is not too heavy or bulky,
Great forward-facing camera with amazing video and photography options.

CONS:
The back-facing camera is subpar-especially for 2017-so if you're a selfie nut you might be disappointed,
I wish the bigger memory capacity was available from more service providers,
Charging cable is short so a lengthier one will need to be purchased if you want use the phone while charging.

Overall, I would recommend this phone if you are looking for a solid Android device. Some consumers have had issues with an uneven display, but neither my husband nor I have had any issues.

I have had my V30 for about a month now. I have had no display issues or crashes. Signing up for the warranty was easy. I love how fast and easy to use the phone is. Although auto-correct could use a little work

LG won just because I wanted to see how good this camera is. I'll show you. Taken from the stern of a passenger ferry, settings are all automatic

BEAUTIFUL screen, good battery life, minimal bloatware, great warranty, super fast and responsive, LG features, headphone jack, etc. And many things that are just icing on the cake. Hi-Fi audio DAC, facial recognition, camera features I don't even know what to do with, water resistant, usb c, great warranty, very lightweight and stunning appearance, etc. I could keep going but I will stop there. Get this phone!
