LG software is a bit clunky, but is easily circumvented
No option to switch cameras in third-party apps

Smooth operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, pretty impressed after owning v30 for over 2 months, I hold my phone with my left hand, my only complaint is that when I try to hit numbers and letters that are on the far right of the keyboard I inadvertently hit extra numbers like the Q the A and the 1 with my thumb as it reaches over, and I have a big hand. So holding the phone and typing with one hand can be challenging. now I understand why the Samsungs are designed a little thinner.
Pros: Performance, Quality, easy to use

Super Fast and a Pretty Camera

Great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Verizon version when a couple days after it came out. Overall I've been very happy with it. It's a good size phone and I like how big the screen is. The phone itself is slightly bigger then my old phone but this screen is significantly bigger.
The UI is nice. I came from a Nexus phone which is pure Android but it's nice having some customization options available with this phone.
The negatives are
1: It takes a long time for updates. I still haven't received a monthly security update for November and I thought LG did those.
2: While you can uninstall most apps there are still some that can't be like LG messenger which is not a good texting app. I wish they had Android messages as the stock texting app. I downloaded that but was not receiving everyone's texts in they app but they'd appear in the LG app. Very strange.

Overall I'm very happy with the phone. I was looking for something that will last for a few years so time will tell.

Love the phone

Best Camera on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Android phone. I was really hesitant to switch over, but expandable storage, versatility, a stronger screen, and a generally longer phone life finally got me looking. I read reviews for weeks before I finally dropped the hammer on the V30. The camera sealed the deal. The front-facing camera is pretty weak, yeah, but my mom likes that it has a selfie filter to soften out her wrinkles.... The back-facing cameras, however, are solid gold. I've taken some of the best photos of my life with this phone. It's unreal. I haven't had any problems with functionality, etc., with the exception of some spotty bluetooth connectivity problems. It's always asking for the password for my car, for instance, and disconnecting my Ringly. But aside from the bluetooth stuff, which I'm going to try to figure out at some point, I have no problems with this phone. It's great.
