Intuitive, durable, and smexy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally had to replace my Note 4. This is an excellent upgrade that offers the same flexibility of bigger "phablets" without the bulk. No stylus, but screen is huge, sound is great, pics are super. Call clarity exceptional. Some camera options are clunky which is the only thing that prevents a 5 star rating from me. I am a casual user, not a tech addict, so I am easy to please as long as my phone isn't too complex and fidgety to use. This one fits all my needs perfectly.

Love my LG V30!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my V30 in mid November. Had narrowed down to S8, Pixel 2 and v30. Had switched from Samsung to LG g4 couple of years ago and was thinking hard on Pixel 2. Decided to stick with LG. Love the v30. It feels great in my hand, does everything I want, is quick and to this point, the best phone I've ever had. Fingerprint sensor works super well, and haven't run into anything that annoys me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this phone to anyone.

Best Android phone purchase in years!

Perfect Phone?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say, I LOVE THIS PHONE! Forget any complaints that you've read about the screen; it's simply beautiful. It feels great in the hand, and you don't have to worry about gripping it by the edges, a la the Galaxy S8. The sound is outstanding, thanks to the quad DAC. My only critical feed back would be that the cutouts for the SIM card and the charge port are a bit sharp; LG could have rounded them a bit. Other than that, just amazing!

Almost Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone about three weeks ago and can't get over the smoothness of operation and battery life. I love the quad-dac, was one of the key reasons I was sold on it. Even with a case, the phone is nice and slim.

Exceptional Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned both iPhones and Samsung products and far prefer the LG V30. I loved my LG V10 and waited for the V30 with high expectations. The V30 proved worthy of the wait. It offers high resolution, fast processing speeds, and great functionality. It is responsive and free of any glitches. The camera is amazing and the video ability unmatched. If you are looking for top of the line with reliability I would recommend the LG V30.

A terrific phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research before finally deciding on the LG V30. I looked extensively at the LG G6 (eliminated solely because I previously had a phone with an OLED screen and didn't want to step down) and at the V30 closest competitor the Galaxy S8. I did not consider the Pixel2 X. In my view, it was an LG phone and saw no reason to buy a knockoff.
I cannot be happier. The screen is great. The S8 screen may be a tad better, but not enough to justify the price hike. Lump in the dreaded Bixby assistant and there was another reason to choose the V30.
The cameras are EXCELLENT. I don't understand the complaints about the front camera. It's more than adequate for selfies. The panoramic lens is great and a unique differentiator. The camera software eliminates any need to install a third party app. Video creation is also tremendous.
The DAC is fabulous and completely makes the case for keeping headphone jacks on mobile devices.
LG was the first to put the power button on the back of the phone. It remains a great decision and the best and most convenient location. The finger print sensor is flawless. As for face recognition, it doesn't work on laptops so no surprise it's hit or miss here. I don't use it and would not miss it if it were removed in the next V edition.
Overall, a GREAT device. Well done, LG. Keep it up.
