[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not received the Pie update.... just too slow with the updates...had the phone for 16 months and the battery has deteriorated.Followed up with the advertised guaranteed 2 year replacement because the battery is horrible and was told to send a picture of the phone after I made the claim.LG does not stand behind its 2 year guarantee. Most likely like Apple, their updates diminished the battery life so you buy a new phone.Beware consumer...they don't care, like many other corporations....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this phone for 5 months now and it has met and exceeded all my expectations. It is a 64 G hard drive with 128 G SD card and it will accept Thumb-drives as well. It runs Office 365 with out any problems. For a mobile unit i find it amazing.
I purchased this phone after I had issues with my v20 after power outage, only issue I had with V30 it was smaller then my v20 other wise great phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used to own an LG G2 cellphone. The LG V30+ that I bought is better in just about every way except it's heavier. If the LG V30+ were as light as the LG G2, then this phone would be perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Went kayaking and flipped over. Phone spent 24 hours in the river. Went back the next day and found phone. Put it in rice and left in truck all day. Turned it on and it works perfectly.
I bought this phone 5 months ago and it stays charged up FOREVER!!!!! Since I'm a college kid I use it for everything!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very good, impressive phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having read the reviews (CNET and beyond), I decided to purchase this phone just two weeks ago. Having received it just yesterday, needless to say, I find myself overly impressed. The operation and setup were seamless, the picture quality and resolution are superb (although perhaps a bit too saturated), and the amount of flexibility available is more than I can for. Having used the LG G4 since 2016 (itself a very efficient piece of equipment), I must confess being quite blown away by this model.
If I can raise two or three issues, they are: 1) the volume controls feel a tad more awkward on the side of the phone than on the back where the fingers would be better positioned in operating them, 2) the speaker would have been better placed at the back or front of the phone than at the bottom, and 3) as others mentioned before, while 4GB of RAM is sufficient, it would have been better served with at least 6GB (when thinking of the constant evolution of cellphones beyond 2019).
But with that said, this phone is durable and will last quite a while (believe it or not, even the LG G4 is still around and remains very useful, though minus the operating system upgrades available in newer models). LG V30 will serve you well, as I can attest with confidence.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
I bought 3 of these V30 phones for my business. One of them has acted up starting the first 3-4 months. Verizon was able to figure out the issues for a while but in the 13th month the problematic phone started getting hot. We chose the LG because of the 2 year warranty, but we failed to note in the fine print it had to be registered with 90 days of purchase. So now its out of the 1 year warranty by less than a month and the 2nd year warranty never existed. When we called LG about this, they were no help at all.
