After checking many brands, we found tis one had the best reviews for the size we needed. We installed it in an existing wall box, following the instructions. It has features we were not aware of but love. It is

I bought this unit to replace a 10,000 BTU that I had purchased 6 years ago. This unit and another 8,000 BTU unit I have sufficiently takes care of my apartment. I like the energy saving feature that allows me to use when we are not home. Also the sleep feature is useful.

We finally replaced our old AC and we are really happy with this choice..the remote is so handy and I think the Ac is on the quiet side for a big wall unit. It seems to do the job very easily with no heavy breathing.

Various settings that suit my needs

I bought this the end of May 2015 and am so happy that I did! It is a great AC. It has a remote, just fan, sleep mode, and many other features that make it even more energy efficient, such as a timer to set to come at a later time, and sleep mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replaced a 20 year old 16,0000 btu unit with this one. Does the job just as well. Like the fact that it just plugs in to a 115 volt. Easy to install, love the remote, i didnt think i would use it. Unit is a bit louder than my previous unit. I would have thought that it should have been quieter than a unit from 20 years ago. Thus the 4 stars.
