Fun for the whole family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child really loved this track once it was all set up! It is an awesome track and is very big. The plastic track and all the parts seem very durable. The car is a nice metal and seems to be very well made. My child loves to play with this track and watch it go around and around. Some cons of this race track is that it takes a while to set up. It’s hard to hold off an excited child when there are so many parts. Also it comes with a lot of stickers and the must be put on first before the track is assembled. The box says side by side racing and there is only one car included with the track. If you have two children make sure more cars are purchased so a couple kids can play at the same time. One issue that we are having is the car will go around three or four times fine and then flip over, not sure if it is because it I on carpet. Overall the track is really fun to play with and kids really enjoy it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hours of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having two daughters, I wasn't sure this would be a hit with them. However since the moment we opened the box they've been enthralled. It was fun to set up and they enjoyed helping dad and it was easy enough with the directions that they were able to help. The car runs quite well around the track, but does occasionally flip over around some of the turns. They have been playing non stop since we opened it and love that it features their favorite characters from the Cars movies. I would highly recommend this toy to anyone who loves the movies or loves cars and race tracks. Just be aware that it is quite large and does take up a considerable amount of floor space as it's about 5 feet long from end to end once assembled.

Very fast and big!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comes in a very big box so if you're looking for an impressive gift, this will fit the bill. My five-year-old said he enjoyed putting the track together with my husband. I couldn't figure out the instructions for the stickers as I think the insert is different than what's shown on the front of the box so we put them where ever we wanted and had plenty left over. Once up and running (don't forget your 4 D batteries), we noticed a few things
- we "needed" more than just the one car that comes with the set as other diecast cars weren't wide enough to make use of the spinner wheels that push the car around the track
- after purchasing more cars, we found that lower profile cars work best. The flower power van is too top heavy to consistently make the turns so it gets to watch the races most often unless there's a need to crash as part of the story line
- the cars go fast which is quite satisfying
- they do have a tendency to flip over or fly off when making the turn. I've read a few other reviews where they recommend propping the ends up a bit so I'll give that a try.
- we can't seem to keep the spectator stand where the non-racing cars sit attached to the track. It's not instrumental to play and maybe we're just an extra clutsy family.

My son seems to enjoy flipping the levers that determine whether the cars go on the upper or lower tracks (or come to a complete stop against the flag in the winner's circle) the most. If he has a few cars running, he can really get in the zone flipping them back and forth. There's a lever on each side and given the large size, I can see that two children could easily play with this set, each one manning his/her own lever. I have found that my son can play with this pretty independently which is a huge plus in my book.

Missing a track piece

Looks totally awesome but missing a correct track piece that is necessary for the car to make it all the way around. Maybe they sell extra track pieces?

My son is crazy about Pixar cars. He wants nothing but Cars. He got the Ultimate Florida 500 for Christmas. It was great until a breeze did not knock it over. As soon as you touch it falls apart. Looking into hacks how to stabilize this wretched thing. My son would play with it IF it would stay put. The blue edges that holds the whole thing in place keeps popping out and the tracks separate. We keep it on the floor and been used gently (not much play time can he have with a toy that falls apart, can he?) In one word VERY disappointing toy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Track won’t stay together complete let down

My son got this race track for his birthday and me and him set down to put the track together and as he was getting excited as we was close to finishing the track we was extremely let down when the track would not stay together. One of the corners will not stay together with the track it just continues to pop off every single time it’s put together

Worst track we’ve ever owned

We got this for a Christmas present for my son, 2 years ago, and I was worried that the motor may not be strong enough for the cars to go around the track. Since it was Disney and for the EXPENSE, I Figured it should be fine. It is true that the motor is horrible. It is VERY rare that any kind of car or even die cast car will go around this track even twice. I think once in awhile it would barely make it around once, like the whole YEAR we had it!!!! I would NEVER recommend this track to anyone. Too big, too loud and the cars don’t go around the track, isn’t that what a track is for??☺️ I always made sure to buy name brand batteries and made sure they were new and whether it was on the fast setting or the slower neither one really ever got them around the track, once around the track here and there is NOT what a 4 year old would be looking for while playing, and for the price we paid I would expect it to go continuously around the track until we turn it off. So, what I’m Trying to say is don’t waste your money, go with a Hot Wheels track instead!!
