Coolest Mermaid Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old got the new Barbie Dolphin Magic transforming mermaid to review. She absolutely loves this doll. Barbie comes with a beautiful pink sparkly dolphin that serves as a bath squirter as well. The coolest thing about this doll is Barbie's mermaid doll transforms into a dress. It is so easy to do that my daughter was so excited she could do it herself. I would have to say this is my daughter's favorite Barbie. She stated it is the coolest mermaid ever!! Barbie can have endless adventures in the water and on land, this doll is a huge hit at my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll transforms easily enough for my 5 year old to do it herself, which any parent knows is a huge plus! She played with it a long time before I showed her that it changes colors and it was like a brand new toy. We are very pleased.

She can be a mermaid and then within minutes she can become just regular Barbie with legs. The quality of the doll seems very nice. The outfit is made well. They also love her hair. It's super soft and long.

Color magic mermaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this doll for reviewing purposes for my daughter. She was ecstatic when she opened the package. As you may know mermaids are the craze among little ones, she had played with it non stop. Her favorite feature is the color changing. She likes to play with her anytime of the day but has most fun at bath time. The doll itself is very sturdy, well made, and has many fun aspects. My daughter is constantly switching the outfit from mermaid fin to the dress. She calls it the magic mermaid because it changes colors. Can't forget about the adorable dolphin buddy that she loves to squirt everyone with. The only negative thing I could say, I didn't even notice until my daughter asked, why she doesn't have bottoms/undergarments on. It's no issue to me but for that to be one thing my 4 year old asks maybe she should have some. I would highly recommend this doll to anyone who has a mermaid loving little girl. It will surely put a smile on their face.

Kitschy clothes and features aren't a mainstay in today's Barbie, and I was happy to see that with this doll. My daughter enjoys using her in the tub and changing the colors with hot and cold water. Keep it up Mattel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not receive this product free because it never arrived to me. I ordered one online though because my daughter loves mermaids. This is very well made. I love that all the water actually properly drains out. Thats a hard feature to find in pool toys. She has had it in the bathtub and at the pool. She really enjoyed playing with it. Its bright colors make it very visible underwater.
