Really quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great washing machine. Due to its location, we needed quiet. This unit makes little to no noise when it operates. It also does a good job of cleaning clothes too.

Best ever!

My experience with BOSCH appliances goes way back. They are the most efficient and wonderful washer and dryer. Easy to use, and the settings are real, they are not just knobs to turn! My previous one, a different brand, I had to get rid of them after two years. This replacement set are life changing. Recommend them 100%. The only downside is that it won't be good for washing blankets except for small ones.

Small But Gets the Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were originally supposed to get the Bosch 500 Series washer that was ordered back in November along with the matching dryer. The dryer came in mid December prior to our move into a 3BR condominium. There was no ETA for the washer because of supply chain issues. We were called at the beginning of February saying that they did have the 800 model and did we want it. We desparately needed to replace the aging stacked Maytag unit that was on its last legs with the bearings almost shot. The Bosch unit performs well and we have adjusted to the smaller size. We do all the wash at the cotton setting with cold water using one of the popular encapsulated HE detergents. One pod is all that is needed so we don't use the detergent dispenser.
We have a small laundry closet that is right outside my office and the only time the noise is really audible is when it first starts a spin cycle. The clothes have all come out clean and because the spin cycle is so effective, the drying times are quite modest (about half the time of the initial two hour setting). Laundry time is longer than we are used to as we need to do two loads for every one we did in the larger capacity Maytag unit at our old house. So far that is the only issue, and one we are dealing with. I hope that this provides a number of years of trouble free service.
