Fantastic Beverage Refrigerator

I admit it. I am a huge skeptic when buying brands that I don't know. I did the research, read the reviews, and it was clear, people loved their Haier beverage refrigerator over all of the competition in this price range. I rolled the dice and I have to say I'm completely satisfied. PRO's: simple, quiet, aesthetically pleasing (nice design), it locks. CONS: top shelf is not quite as cool as the bottom (probably could've remedied by circulating internal air better - but it is a mini beverage refrigerator so I don't expect $2,000 functionality), plastic plugs don't remove easily to switch door swing side (mine busted when I attempted to remove them so I just stopped), and I believe the 150 can capacity is a bit overstated (I think you can comfortably fit more like 120 without removing shelves - but in Haier's defense all beverage refrigerators seem to overstate capacity and awkwardly place shelves). It is a solid beverage refrigerator WELL worth the money that does an excellent job and keeps everything at a stable, cool temperature. My niece bought the competition and hates it. It gave off an electric smell that somehow embedded into the cans when you drank them. Her refrigerator also couldn't regulate temperature so when it did work, it was blowing up cans. When it quit working they replaced it and the replacement had the exact same issues - no joke. My Haier on the other hand seems to be solid as a rock. Good job Haier. I will probably buy more for the bedrooms.

How do you turn the light off?

The fridge is great and I love how cold it keeps my beer. My one issue is that I'm not sure how to turn the light off. It seems kinda wasteful for the light to be on 24/7. There's no switch that I can see and the manual doesn't say how to turn it off. Does anyone know?

Will not cool drinks below 57 degrees

I purchased this beverage cooler in hopes to keep soft drinks beer and water chilled for a rec room very disappointed after three full days on for Max cold the refrigerator will not go below 56 to 57°. The upper left corner seal has a gap in it that you can almost stick your pinky finger in. Very disappointed with the quality control I will be returning this and getting a better quality fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

warm water.

I have 11 grandchildren and this keeps from taking all the refrigerator space for drinks for them. We love it.

Recently I bought this affordable cans cooler which is perfect plus with this amazing LED light that it has inside looks even more amazing great looking cooler I love it and I really recommended

Does not get beverages cold

Cans that are stored in this refrigerator do not get cold. Already messed with setting with no luck.

Try setting the temperature control to MED and allowing 24 hours for the unit to cool before making any more adjustments. You can also clean the door gasket to ensure that the door is sealing properly. I have purchased this item, love the look and space, but I can not seem to get my items cold!
I took it back to the store and exchanged it for another one and still have the same issue

This is not something we would expect from this beverage center. We're sorry for any inconveniences this has caused and we certainly understand your disappointment.

There could be several reasons why your unit is not cooling properly. With a new beverage center, you want to set the temperature control to MED for at least 24 hours
to cool before making further temperature adjustments. Additionally, you'll need to allow enough time for items to cool, especially if a large amount of beverages were recently added.
