I have been using the bag rolls for a number of years in both the 11" and 8" sizes. We grow all of our own veggies which are blanched and frozen for use throughout the year. Very often, we don't use all of the veggies within the year, and some are carried over for 2 or more years. With bags made from the rolls and using the Foodsaver vacuum units, the veggies taste as good as fresh even more than 2 years later. By removing all of the air, there is no freezer burn and no dehydration of foods. I prefer the rolls because I can make bags in any size that I need. There is less waste and the rolls are more cost effective.

This is so easy to use. Just cut the size you want and then seal one end. Fill and seal. Nice to warm something already cooked in hot water.

Bags sometimes get holes in them if you are sealing meat with sharp bones - like pork chops. Just place a bit of wax paper or saran over the sharp places.

For the first time i can freeze sealed meat with these bags. No more bloody mess in the drip tray. I would like to see these in more sizes.

I have been using food saver and food saver bags for 10 years and have been very satisified. The bags are sturdy, easy to use, and seal beautifully. It saves on grocery bills by being able to buy in bulk and there is no freezer burn even after 2 years in the freezer. I highly reccomend this poroduct
