I have been using the Food Saver for so many years, in fact, my present machine is the 3rd one. I burned the other 2 out. I have given them as gifts and now give the roll bags as gifts to those I have given machines tol

Just the right size for single portions

We typically buy in bulk and this size is great for single portions. With the continuous roll, you can fit long items into it without having to go the wider roll.

Great way to save

I love the ease of use and really appreciate being able to buy in larger quantity's without losing any of the product. I especially like the rolls so I can choose the size for whatever I am freezing.
I also like being able to keep my dried products safe from bugs by sealing them into jars.

Perfect for Dinner for 2 Portion-Packing

There are two people in my household, and we both work, sometimes long hours. We buy meats about once per month, portion pack with the FoodSaver and freeze for easy dinner prep.
I find that the 8" roll works best for 2-people dinner portion-packing. I cut required lengths, shorter for burgers and chops, longer for fish and ribs. For faster thawing and to make it easier to see what I have in the freezer, I lay the pieces side by side in side each bag. And always write what it is (funny how pork and chicken start looking alike when frozen) and the date.
At the beginning of each week, one of us just grabs a chicken, chops, burger and fish from the freezer for the week. I don't worry about leaving anything in the refrigerator for 5 days before eating it, because it's in the FoodSaver bag.
So each night, steam some frozen vegetables, season and cook the meat, add a rice, yam or potato side, maybe a salad, and there's a tasty healthy meal for two working people that took 15 minutes to make and we have variety each night. Thanks to the FoodSaver!

I love the 8" rolls. They are perfect for 2 person portions. The food stays fresher longer, and I have no problem with freezer damage.

Love the small bags.

Love the smaller bags. Can seal for two people instead of 4 to make smaller meals. Works on so many levels. Thanks for the smaller ones. Also the presealed pint bags are great. Just received the 11" bags that is divided. Can't wait to try them. Great product.
