Very happy with the SW3700. Replaced an older norelco with this, my last one probably lasted 10 years, no problems, actually it still works but I wanted a new one. I think the new blade design is fantastic.
Pros: great shave
Cons: not the most comfortable grip but it's not bad.
As the review states , it truly is not fair to judge this shaver , however I will !! I have always until the one , bought the 9K Series of shavers , I enjoy the befits of a quality shave.
I purchased the SW3700 for face shaving only not neck. For that purpose it works , barely , it is not a 9500XL , nor did I expect it to be. I can shave me facial area without issues.
The build quality is good , however I am used to better quality blades and this shaver has 3K Series blades and they do the job.
The extra bonus is the trimmer is actually better than on my old and no-long-hold-charge 9500XL.
If you are looking for an inexpensive shaver this might work , take caution in neck area , I have not and will not try it on my neck area.
No regrets , as I have a 9800 + a 6700 that are both fine neck shavers , but for some reason I get ingrown facial hair by using the 9800 , and so far have not with the 3700 and that is what I was hoping for when I bought it .
It is not a 9K Series , it`s a 3K Series !!
Pros: star wars graphics / huge plus, excellent trimmer
Have had a Norelco for the past 25 years. It would not charge aanymore; would only work pluged in so it was time for a new oine. When I saw the New Star Wars Edition, it was a must & it is giving me the same quality shave. LOVE IT!
This is a very nice all around shaver. It is light, gives a good shave and is easy to clean. I just blow the whiskers out of the blades after each shave.
I have owned two other Philips/Norelco rotary shavers and always got an excellent shave. I also have a Philips One Blade electric shaver but, this special edition shaver beats them all. Price /performance ratio is 100%.
Not only does the razor give you a close shave, but love the sideburn attachment on the back of the razor. Used your model PT720 for many years but it didn't have the sideburn attachment. It was replaced with the Star Wars model.
