Just like the rest....

Just like the other reviews, a month into being the proud owner of my Note 8, my stylus broke in two at the deal. I was so bummed. I've since then ordered a second in which that one broke also, even with the careful usage I put into it. Shopping for a 3rd one now unfortunately. Love it otherwise but very disappointing quality in the pen.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, sleek and precise features
Cons: Poor quality, no durability/breaks easily
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got my Note 8 about 3 months ago and I was so sad when my S pen broke. I love my phone but some of the features are very hard to do without the S pen. Plus it makes it easy to jot down important stuff when you don't have a pen and paper near you.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: breaks easily
I would recommend this to a friend!

The S Pen for Galaxy Note 8 is the best one yet in the series, and nothing compares to it outside of Samsung! I do art on my phone and even take paid commission, and I have found this pen to be the best thing to happen to me. The pressure sensitivity and calibration is spot on and allows for my work to be much more detailed.
The only reason I am not rating five stars is because after one month of having the phone/s pen (I pre-ordered it and picked up the very first day available) it snapped in half, right at the seam. :( maybe I was just a little too rough? Regardless, I'll be sure to be more careful!
Overall, this pen is worth the buy! I feel that it does such an incredible job, along with the phone and its many amazing features. My only downside is that it could maybe be a little more durable? I'd say just try to be careful and it should be fine. Otherwise, it is must-have, even if you aren't an artist, there are many features that make the phone more enjoyable for anybody!
Pros: perfect size, fits into phone, high pressure sensitivity, menu button on side, many features, one of a kind, fine point
Cons: breaks easily
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basically the weak link in the system

This new s-pen for the Note 8 is smaller (and I think) lighter than the Note 5 version. One of the first things I noticed was it is a lot bendier than the previous version. Considering the s-pen frequently jostles loose, I would have thought that would be good but unfortunately the plastic is somehow also super brittle. I was pulling my phone out of my purse and the s-pen was dislodged AGAIN, half way in/halfway out and it got caught on the seam and fell out. It was bent just slightly too much to just slide back in so I tried to bend it back and the plastic cracked all the way around where the button is. My phone has a case and a screen protector and is carried in its own pocket in my purse, it is not mishandled in any way so this was very disappointing. A thicker or more durable plastic and/or a stronger magnet to hold it in would be helpful. I don't mind replacing something if I lose it or abuse it, but for something like this to happen with gentle day to day use after just a few months definitely did not meet my expectations. Since it is integral to the functionality of this phone I really had no choice but to replace it.
Pros: Lightweight, along with device it enables great features
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, opposite of durable, does not secure in slot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The pen was great but broke after 1 month of purchasing my note 8. I am so disapponted. It breaks with the slightes pressure or bending. That's really inconvenient. I have never had a similar problem with my previous samsung s pens. I really did not expect this from samsung. They are going backwards! I have always been loyal to this company and only purchased samsung products. But now the battery and the pen made me regret my purchase.
Cons: Poor quality

Weakest link of he Note 8.... Love the product, very disappointed in the quality of the SPEN which is essential to me for usage of my Note 8! Doesn't securely fit in phone, and easily breakage for no reason of normal usage.....
Then to have a ridiculous replacement cost, is insulting. Surely, they know its faulty!
