[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tentative at first, but soon learned how to cook on it efficiently. It helped that our son gave us a set of beautiful pots. I really like that it is energy efficient; that is the main reason we purchased it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this induction range about a month ago to replace an older range with coil burners. We had wrestled with those burners for some time and could never keep them level or find drip pans which fit properly. This new induction range solved all of those problems and more. We were at first skeptical about the claims induction cook tops work the same as gas burners. After using this range we believe it. We are very pleased with the speed the cooking temps go up and down as needed with virtually no lag time as with coil burners. As for this particular induction range it appears well built and solid. The controls work crisply once you figure out where to push the buttons - not a stove problem but a user problem. The oven, of course, is conventional and works as well as any other we have had. I have not had a chance to compare actual oven temperature with displayed temp but it seems to be close up to now. If it is off to any significant degree it's an easy problem to fix. I wanted to make this a 5 star review but my wife said it needed to be 4 stars only because she thinks the drawer below the oven is not as sturdy as she would like. She has stored pans, lids, roasting racks, etc.(actually whatever would fit) in that drawer in other stoves we have had and the drawer in this one seems not as robust. Other than that she is very happy with it.

From gas to electric convert

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve owned this range for about 2 months now and love it! We’d always used a gas range in the past and I never thought we’d switch to electric.
After reading about the toxins released into the home with gas we decided to make the switch. I’m glad we did and this range outperforms all our wish list items. 1. Affordable, 2. The induction cooktop heats the pans in record time and doesn’t heat up the house, getting a pot of water is remarkably quick, 3. The oven preheats faster and is accurate, 4. The cooktop is super easy to clean, no knobs or burners to clean under or around.
We are very happy with our purchase.

Love the induction top (the oven not so much)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the way induction works. It is very efficient and I also like how quickly it adjusts when you turn the temperature down. There are a few considerations, such as the slight humming sound it makes when heating. It is because of the vibration, and it’s normal and fine, but it can be slightly annoying and take some getting used to. It is louder at higher temps and you often don’t need to use the higher temps. The other thing is that you will need to have induction compatible cookware (magnetic). I needed new cookware so this was not a huge issue, but it has made canning more difficult, because my pressure canner is aluminum. I still think that the induction stovetop is worth it. I’m not crazy about the oven though. Maybe mine has some issues, or maybe it is how it was designed... but the top element doesn’t heat up when baking. It does during broil, so I know it works, but it doesn’t come on at all during baking. I have had a lot of trouble trying to adjust cooking temps/times and placement in the oven to try to compensate for this.
