Asus ROG GL503VM Hero Edition

I bought this laptop in November of 2017 and I have to say, it was perfect from the box opening all way to the installation of my favorite games.I originally chose the Hero Edition because I play DOTA 2 as my primary game of choice, however, over time I found more games and this machine took those games on without issue, it has aged beautifully and continues to be my main source for gaming, despite having a massive 65' 4K television with a 4K gaming console collecting dust! The performance is top-notch supporting a 120Hz TN-Panel at an IPS-Level of display capabilities, alongside an i7-7700HQ (the HQ indicates that it is a Quad Core variant of the mobile i7 lineup, which adds significantly more performance and less wear and tear on your machine with the 4 processors and 4 logical ones) this monster also comes tacked with an Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM and to round things out, the 16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 memory improves multitasking capabilities while the 256GB PCIe SSD ensures speedy game and texture load times and the 1TB FireCuda SSHD (SSHD meaning Solid State Hard Drive, its a hybrid of both moving and non-moving parts) Having non moving parts has 2 main benefits, so for the 256GB SSD its completely made up of non-moving parts which means that you get a massive load time reduction and protection of your precious data due to it not being the traditional style of hard drive which was a spinning disc.
The hybrid drive gives the best of both worlds, plenty of storage and the non-moving component protects your data once more. Having 2 separate drives allows for your media storage to be separate from your gaming storage thanks to the dual setup. Put all your games on the 256GB SDD and everything else your 1TB FireCuda SSHD. Finally, it is VR-Ready!! so if you have any VR product, don't fret, it can run smoothly with this machine. In conclusion, the design is highly attractive from open to close, lot's of compliments and surprise when the hardware that is inside this beast is revealed. I would rate it 5 stars, but the absolute ONLY reason why I didn't was because, (and this is a feature on the majority of laptops) is that I cannot upgrade the graphics card on the machine. I would love to put a 2080 TI in this thing but it's simply not possible. I know that external graphics cards are already on the market but they are not at a state in my opinion where it would be reasonable to invest in just quite yet. So an upgrade will be coming for me in the near future, so I will be going the desktop route making a complete Asus ROG setup.In my field of work I sell all sorts of technology and when it comes to computers Asus is my brand of choice, and it should be yours too, without a second thought.

I love this laptop i take with me everywhere. Great Performance looks sleek. This is packed with Intel I7 and NVidia 1060.

i bought this laptop last week and im so happy using it i like the colors of the laptop and also tha keyboard and the laptop is so fast .. it's make me easy to design and to play my online game easily
