My dream range
on October 6, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the features. Especially the proof setting. Very few induction ranges out there and this checked all the boxes. The design looks fabulous. Been using it for two years now and would never switch back to a standard range. Made 6 dozen cookies in 45 minutes with convection settings. And cooking is super fast with induction. Only one thing that took getting used to is the fan. Seemed really loud because my old stove didn't have one. Now I'm used to it, but it did take a bit to get used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Full Featured Induction Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An induction range was the linchpin of the kitchen package I put together (no gas in this condo). I researched a number of brands and liked the Bosch range overall. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the available functions, rather pretty much just plugged it in and started cooking. The cooktop offers amazing control, from low-low simmer to turbo boil. The only thing I have an issue with is the surface controls take a bit of getting used to.

INDUCTION AND CONVECTION NICE FEATURES
on March 23, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used our new stove/oven for a year and a half now.
CONS:
1. The large burner occassionally displays an error "E". The manual says to unplug for a bit. We've done this (picture attached) and is not an easy or convenient task
2. A week later our oven would not heat up when turned on so we AGAIN had to reset by pulling range out and unplugging. No idea why this happens, but very inconvenient.
3. The stainless bar in the front has been easily (and unknown how or when) scratched (pic attached). Odd place for that piece susceptible to scratching. BE CAREFUL
4. Major finger prints on stove top and oven door, cleaning couple times a day
PROS:
1. The glass top cleans nicely with special cleaner.
1. Good size oven but the drawer below oven is not useful to us and we would rather have a larger oven.

Induction slide-in range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Bosch Induction range. It is easy to clean. It is easy to use. It is elegant looking and integrates into our new kitchen design very nicely. A particularly clever detail in the design is the way it meets the counter on either side. The small overlap makes it hard for food to go down between the counters and range and makes a more finished look for the way they fit together
We have had a Bosch dishwasher for a couple years and have a very positive perception of it forming the background for our choice of Bosch for the new range. Highly recommended.

I am a better cook because of this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took a chance buying the Bosch induction range, and I'm glad I did! It is such a pleasure to use, I am cooking more often and being more creative with recipes. Why so?
*I bought a high-end set of cookware (Belgian made Demeyere) to get full value from the range. There is even a "Suitability Test" function to evaluate how well your cookware works with induction.
*The cooking is very even, no hot spots, so no burning, and produces what I call a “happy boil”.
*I read ALL the instructions, as this range has many handy features that were not available to me before. The Auto Chef and Speed Boost add convenience and efficiency, while the warming drawer is perfect (with three temperatures) when waiting for everyone to come to the table.
*There is both convection BAKE and convection BROIL, so there is more control over heat distribution, which is especially good when broiling thicker cuts of meat etc.
*The styling is elegant, with no knobs on which things can get caught.
*Electronic controls on both the cook top and the oven can be locked in with “panel lock”, which is a great user design; otherwise they could be accidentally turned off.
Caveats: there are a few challenges with any product, so here are the ones I identified:
*The stainless-steel surface will scratch, so be careful not to drag pans over the surface, when using metal utensils, and when wearing belt buckles etc.
*The size of the numbers and letters on the control panels are small, with the oven controls facing outward rather than upward, so this takes some getting used to.
*If you are new to cooking with induction heat, give yourself some time to become accustomed to the heat and power levels. The manual provides conversion values, but they are not as obvious as say, using a gas flame.
Enjoy cooking!

Great Cooktop, poor oven
on April 17, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good: We love the induction cooktop. It has easy direct entry for heat selection, quick heat up, and precise temps with 18 levels. It also has a timer function for the burners. Bad: The oven has a 35 degree temperature swing! This means that if you set it for 350, it has to cool down to 315 before it heats up again and then overshoots to 385. Much cheaper American brands are more precise - a real disappointment from Bosch. This also results in other unexpected impacts. I had the oven at 350 degrees and decided to turn it up the last bit to 375 to finish. However, it was in "preheat mode" for the next 20 minutes because it needed to first cool off to 35 degrees under 375 before it decided to heat up. This meant that it didn't actually heat up when I needed it to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HAVING AN INDUCTON STOVETOP FROM BOSCH BEFORE WE LOOKED FOWARD TO WHEN THE DELIVERY WAS MADE. WAS DELAYED A FEW TIMES WHICH WAS ANNOYING. STOVE IS WHAT WE EXPECTED A LITTLE LESS POWERFUL THAN OUR PREVIOUS MODEL BUT ALL IN ALL FINE.
STAINLESS STEEL FINISH NOT AS SOLID AND LITTLE CHEAPLY LOOKING

Liked so much that we bought a 2nd unit.

We had purchased a Bosch Induction cook-top & warming drawer when we built a new home in 2011. We moved to another home in January 2016 which had a gas range. My wife missed the induction cooking & warming drawer so much that we replaced a perfectly fine gas range. The biggest issue was that we had to run a new 220 electric circuit in the ceiling of our basement but once we found out that it was possible, we were all in. We are both so happy, like having an old friend back with us.
