Expensive scanner, 1 yr warranty!

scanner is not quite 2 yrs old - when scanning backs of pages, it puts a large thick black line across back page, otherwise great little scanner! contacted support, wont do anything, out of warranty! wants me to return to see if can be fixed, nope...

Hi, We will be more than happy to assist you black lines across the back of your documents for your ADS2200. To correct this issue enable the Remove Background Color setting when scanning. Follow the steps in the link below.

Simple to use. My only comments would be: 1. the step by step instructions are not specific enough for each scanning scenario. 2. There should be some mechanism to pause a scan so that you can add more pages beyond the 50 page limit or some way to combine 2 or more pdf files scanned. This would expand the use of the machine to benefit users and probably sell alot more of these machines.
