Right scanner for the job

Decided to scan a large number of files that are part of a collection I work on. Bought the ADS-2200 and a week or two later I was quarantined at home with 5 boxes of files and I'm still at work. This scanner is perfect for 99% of that task, also appreciate the Brother iPrint & Scan software, very flexible.

Scans in fairly fast. Haven’t figured out the double sided. Thought was automatic but appears you have to flip the paper. I wish you could scan in multiple groups without stopping after each group and assigning the name, which my previous scanner had that function. Otherwise it is a great scanner

Old Photo scannert

I bought this to digitize old family photos with writing on the back. It works great simultaneously scanning both sides. The software is the issue. It only generates PDFs dual sided. The only other option is JPG but you get 2 seperate images that are sequentially numbered. I'd like maybe one JPG or 2 jpgs with the same number but a b for back. Resolution is fixed at 300 or 600 dpi. And no JPG adjustments.
But if you like PDFs, you can put a scan set in the hopper and it all goes into one PDF.

This scanner is fast and efficient. Capable of handling large scanning projects. Easily scan documents, cards, receipts etc into pdf or other files. Great buy!

There is no basic printed instructions. A unit that expensive should have them included. I’m disappointed
