High Speed Duplex Scanner- White

Scanner: I participated in a market research study and received the Brothers ADS-2200 Desktop Scanner to evaluate. My home office does not have one. This being a desktop scanner, it worked very well. It kept up with the needs of a home and office. Installation: Overall, installation was not too easy. I ran into a few error codes, but quickly worked through them; with the provided instruction manual. It does not come with USB data transfer cable. I had to purchase one. And it does not come with the extra software the installation software. It required me to go to the extra software`s website for it. Aside from those, the rest of it was simple.Operation: The Brothers ADS-2200 Desktop Document Scanner works well. It has a simple one button push to start scanning. You can load quite a bit of paper or photos in to the auto feeder. It fed them through, without any problem. I was scanning as much as thirty sheets of paper at one time. It worked wonderfully. Pictures, too! I scanned a company event and some old pictures, and it fed them right on through. It is quiet, unlike a scanner I had last year. I would attempt to get work done while my children were napping, they would often go work up from the noise. For the price, it Last, but certainly not least; it is small. It does not take much room on my work station. With me working from home I cannot have a full-size office desk. I have standard size computer desk and file cabinet next it. That is where it sets, it fit there perfectly.! Problems: There are only really three things that I had a problem with. The first problem was the extra software not being included on the actual installation software was inconvenient. I still have not gone to the other sites to get it. Secondly, a cord not being included, for the price one should have been included. Lastly, it has no internet connectivity. A lot of people like to keep their scanners in a separate location, then their desks. I especially like to since I have small children.Price: I thought it be a little expensive, for a Desktop Scanner. I would have to suggest that the price range be lowered.

I hooked this scanner up right away after receiving it. It was fairly easy to hook up to my computer and the instructions are written well so you know what to do. This scanner is reasonably sized for what it can do. Scans documents fast and you can save to almost anywhere on your computer. Super fast and can scan up to 50 pieces at once. Perfect for any office.

The ADS-2200 scanner arrived in a small and lightweight box. The unboxing experience was smooth, and all the components were properly organized and easy to find. The assembly part was perhaps the most straightforward step of the experience. I literally assemble the product without looking at the instructions in less than 5 minutes. Of course, I then looked at the instructions and ensured that everything was in place. The manual was clear and offered step by step instruction along with pictures which enhanced the user experience. I chose to connect the scanner to my computer (Windows) via the LAN connection. I successfully established the connection with my 1st attempt. I then proceeded to download and install the Brother installation package as instructed on the manual.The functionality of the scanner was unremarkable. The document feeder worked as expected and the scanned documents were directed to the computer as stated by the company. What I love about the product:I love the simple and lightweight design. I work from home; therefore, I am a fan of space saving products. The easy interface is top-notched!!! Especially that you can scan 2-sided documents with a press of a button. This feature alone is a huge time saver along with the quick scanning process. I am excited to test its functionality with my mobile device which is another fantastic feature. Overall the scanner over-delivers in every aspect of my concerns despite the fact that 1/2 the size and weight of my former scanner. I recommend this scanner to anyone who enjoys, simplicity, compactibility, and efficency!

I really like the Brother ADS-2200 because it is small and doesn`t take up much space on my desk. The instructions came with photo examples and easy to follow set up. I`m looking forward to scanning all my old photos and making photo books for my family as gifts! This is something you can`t purchase and usually we don`t take time to do. So the photos are stored in boxes, maybe in an attic or basement and end up ruined.

ADS-2200 High-speed Desktop Document Scanner with 50-page capacity auto document feeder quickly scans stacks of single and double-sided, color and Black & White materials up to 35 ppm in a single pass. Its space-saving and lightweight (5 lb)design easily accommodates most office work spaces and small business. Compatible with the operating Systems Supported like windows 7,8,8.1 and mac etc.my computer operating system is windows 7.The ADS-2200 handles multiple media types and paper sizes, including business and plastic ID cards, receipts and photos and can scan out-of-the-box with no additional installed software required.i have a small catering business and couple of employees working for me,so I use ADS 2200 to print some beautiful identification and visiting card for them.it came out really well.Works great on the desktop. Scans both b&w and color easily and Import is very easy, Love the multiple page feed option.but some little problems like paper got jammed after some scanning operation may be it was a user error i am not sure and there is no USB cable in the box to connect to the computer so i have to purchase the cable separate.other than that So far no issues with this. thank you bro!!

The setup was easy with minimal hassle straight out the box. I was up and scanning in no time. I would totally recommend this to anyone who likes to keep track of receipts or any other papers around the home that can become a nuisance. Although the scanner isn`t WiFi compatible, that would`ve helped out a lot more as I wouldn`t have had to stay near the computer while scanning.

Superb, fast scanning both in color and monochrome. Feeder accepts surprisingly large docs (large as in number of pages) without problems. Loved my ASD-2000 but this is much better, and smaller, too. Highly recommended!
