[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone few weeks back and it was great so far. I like this phone because of not only the sleek design, but the camera. I use it everyday to capture photos and they are good quality.
I bought this phone looking for features that are expected in todays market as well as long battery life. I have been very pleased so far. I live in a rural area and have been surprised at the ability of the phone to pull in a signal.
I compared it to my friends iphone 10 and even he said there was almost no difference in quality of features or camera. The wide angle lens is great. Purchased new in box, V30+
I would recommend this to a friend!

I mean the phone works, the security updates are usually late or sometimes never. In more than 16 months it hasn't received a OS upgrade. Oreo 8.1 was passed on because LG didn't fill like it was important. Now Pie which will be outdated in less than 2 months still hasn't been worked or released. I honestly think LG was trying to avoid supporting this phone at all. If you do get a update, don't expect another one from LG. There passing the buck as usual. The cell provider has to release it to you. They can't because LG hasn't provided it to them. If you leave it alone and quit putting your bloated junk in the software, then it wouldn't take a year to test it. LG used to be decent. They used to release the updates in a few months. They claimed we promise. They said we setup a new software team to improve our service and support, in 2017. The only thing that has proven to be is a total failure. My family uses 6 cellphones. We upgrade in cycles. LG I wouldn't touch the V40 or the V50 if you were giving it away. Sorry but you have not shown any improvement to me, only excuses. We walked away from LG before. We gave you a second chance to prove that you had fixed the problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It a decent phone V30+, but???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this phone over a year ago. It works as it should. My wife likes her phone. I considered it a flagship. LG just has not been able to get there act together, since the LG G4 total failure. It seems that LG is designing better phones like in previous years. The problem is LG is lacking in supporting there cell phones. Here we are after the big we promise three years of updates from LG, waiting to get a now almost one year old OS update. It's almost pointless since the next OS is coming out. LG isn't going to improve it's sales if it doesn't deliver on there promises. The customers have felt once again abandoned. Does word of mouth cost sales? Yes of course. Does failure to your customers cost sales? Yes. If your propriety software LG specific is causing these delays, then abandon it, not your customers. You can build a phone so good it can walk a dog, it isn't going to make any difference if your customers think and know they have once again been left behind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I ended up getting this phone on my upgrade at the suggestion of a friend and I positively loved it. It wasn't a big as my previous phone but, it was still awesome. I'm going to continue to purchase LG V line for now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my LG FLEX and i am so happy I ! I didn't think it would or could replace my Flex but it did it LG V30 PLUS is even more outstanding then my Flex it does everything and then some great phone.
