A disappointment for V20 users

For anyone who, like me, switched from LG's last year flagship V20 this phone is disappointing. True, there are significant improvements such as waterproof body and amped sound output. But there are three key features missing which, for me, is really hard to lose, namely, the accessible battery, the signature bar, and most importantly, separate slots for second SIM and external memory. It is, by the way, almost twice as expensive as its predecessor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me awhile to finally settle on buying the LG V30... I had the LG G4 and loved it, but performance had deteriorated and had to do a factory reset 2x in the almost 4 years since I bought it. One of my buddies had the V30 and he swore by it so I wads sold. It's lighter than the G4 and so much improvement from the G4. I bought the unlocked version so not a lot of these useless apps, and was able to use the microSD card I previously used with G4. The best characteristic is the fast performance and display... Graphics are awesome.

Awesome phone, minus a couple functions

Awesome phone but can't seem to disable pop up notifications on top of screen without disabling the notifications overall. Also when assigning text notifications to contacts, it works for a few then goes back to the main/default text notification. Awesome phone besides that. The 128gb internal memory is what originally drew me to this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my LG V30+ for a few weeks now. It's very easy to use and I don't anticipate anything in particular to become a problem. I gave it 4 stars because there's not really anything that stands out about it. It's a good quality smart phone. My previous phone was a Droid Turbo 2. I liked that phone, and this one is comparable. I'm disappointed with the swipe feature in messaging, as well as the autocorrect. It's pretty ridiculous, some of the words it replaces my words with. But that will just take some getting used to, on my part. All in all, I'm happy with my phone and would recommend it to friends and family!

True wide angle lens for the dual camera is nice.
The included quad driver ear buds are above par for a free set of ear buds.

*Upgrading from a G4 and J7 Perx (cause the G4 bootlooped and the phone had to be ordered)*
What I like:
Great cameras (all 3, yes 3!) and software to go with. Great photo quality.
Great design, very slim and light.
Great display size and picture quality.
Performance is great as well, nice smooth transitions when moving between apps.
New emojis are a nice change.
Glad the volume buttons have moved from being above and below the power button on the back.
Storage space, 128GB (just over 100GB after preinstalled apps/software) so plenty of room for whatever you like to download/install.
