Noisy and ticking!

Wanted a classy looking range hood. Looks great. Assumed it would have a higher quality motor since I chose a higher priced model. It is loud and ticky on the lower speed and just plain loud on higher speed with less ticking. Absolutely not Happy with noise. Happy with appearance. =\
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installation and buttons

Installation - It is very difficult to install as a replacement unit due to lining up the exhaust pipe to the unit's neck. We ended up taking off the neck and installing it to the exhaust pipe, then lining it up..
Buttons - fan and light switch buttons are located "under" the hood, putting them directly over the cooking surface and difficult to see without looking under the hood.
It appears to work great.

I purchased this to coordinate with the new oven and dishwasher, as well as existing stove top and refrigerator. It's fine and does the job. It is bulkier than I expected, not the more sleek profile I was seeking, but I'm used to it now. The two light settings seem the same, rather than a brighter and more muted night light choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
