Watch discolored

I have had this watch for less than 8 months when I noticed it had completely discolored! It turned from rose gold to gold! Even the face! And Skagen only told me they would replace the bands only! I was livid. I will NEVER buy another Skagen product ever again.

I love this watch. When I woke up last weekend after weekend shenanigans to find that i'd somehow broken the face I was surprised and impressed. I then immediately went online and bought a replacement. I've had it replaced no issue by the company when it stopped vibrating and when the hands stopped tracking correctly but my boyfriend who has also had a skagen for two years has never had any issues. Maybe I'm just a little harder on electronics than him. It is incredibly useful to be able to not keep my phone on me but still know if something important comes through from someone who I need to answer. I leave my phone alone for most of the day now and when my watch buzzes, I check it to see if I should bother with my phone. It passes as a normal watch and looks so elegant with everything I own but provides me with the important information that allows me to be more engaged in the world and still connected when necessary. You won't regret this watch, I promise. A note about connectivity issues I'd seen in reviews before buying: I've hardly ever had issues with it. I use the ringer setting as one of my buttons because my phone is always on silent and I misplace it regularly. The button press ringer makes noise even when it's on silent and has saved me hours of searching many days from all over my apartment. So the range is pretty good and the connectivity is consistent. Battery life comments: if you use the watch to it's fullest degree you will likely have to change the battery twice a year. If you get one of the bigger watches that cuts in half in my experience. Small price to pay for the functionality you get IMO.

Mesh strap broken

Only had watch for 18 months and mesh strap is broken mesh is pulling threads and making holes in my clothes. Ruined many beautiful items of clothing. Looked everywhere to find replacement strap but no luck. Watch works beautifully but not wearable with broken strap. Would like to replace with a leather strap since mesh strap is much too fragile for a sportswatch. Very disapointed in product.

I treated myself to this watch just love it, looks really good. The alerts are great battery life is good too had it nearly 1 year, battery still fine. Get lots of comments when I wear it.

This is a great looking watch, and for someone who's had other smart watches I love that no matter what I can look at it without jiggling to see the time! As others have noticed the step count is a little skimpier than other trackers, but I won't complain that I have to walk a little more to get there. Love it! Great purchase.

Big, heavy watch lacking intuitive settings

I love Skagen and own several of their watches. I was excited to get a hybrid smart watch so I could track my steps and still have a stylish design. Unfortunately, this watch is pretty big and heavy for my petite wrist. Additionally, the set up is not very intuitive. The notifications for instance require me to remember which number I assigned to each of my contacts. Furthermore, I was disappointed Skagen step tracking doesn't link to Noom App. I highly recommend Skagen consider partnering with Noom so data can be shared.

Purchased this product and it arrived in a timely fashion. It functioned for 3 days and then would not sync with the Android app. Unfixable. Watch returned for a refund as model no longer available. Very disappointed. My wife loved the new watch. Suspect poor quality control.
