Performs Like a Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off when I received the package it was heavier than I thought. When unpacked I quickly realized why. This blender is well built and it became obvious why it is named "Professional". The directions are very easy to understand. And what I like is how easy it is to clean let alone that the entire container is dishwasher safe. With use it was very apparent how convenient the programs of operation are. They reduce the amount of time that I needed to actually monitor the blender as the programs were programmed for a specific time. And for almost all uses were spot on for the amount of time needed for each dedicated operation. As far as power, well with 2.4 hp this blender will do all that I will ever need to blend. The controls and display are very easy to understand and intuitive to use. I am a big fan of Smoothies and this blender does a superior job in producing a very smooth Smoothie. The crush option for ice quickly produces very smooth ice for Slushies that all you need are syrups of your favor to enjoy. The included tamper is a real help it getting your thick foodstuff to the blades for them to do the job as desired without the danger of being chewed up in the blades. My old blender ate a couple of my wood spoon handles and ruined my processed food. This can't happen with this design. So I feel if you are in pursuit of a blender that will last a lifetime and do all that you need for blended food I heartily recommend this Hamilton Beach product.

Amazing Programs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the blender of my dreams! I have already used it a few times and look forward to using it for years to come. The smoothie program is amazing, just put your ingredients in the blender, set to "Smoothie" and the blender does the rest. It has amazing power and clean up is a breeze with the "Clean" program setting. The base is designed so the pitcher fits over on all four corners and then the blade is locked in so the pitcher is secure while set on the base. I love the blade being permanently affixed to the container so you don't have to worry about losing any parts. The lid is very secure and you are in no danger of it flying off while the blender is running. This blender is very easy to use and beautiful as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great blender. Auto clean feature is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never really used blenders much before I got this one. They didn't work well and were a pain to clean. This blender solved those issues and has me inspired to make many recipes/drinks.
So far I've made;
* red salsa (fresh tomatoes, onion, lime juice, serrano and jalapeno pepper,
cilantro, cumin, salt and pepper)
* green salsa (tomatillos, onion, serrano and jalapeno pepper. Baked all items
in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes first. Put in blender with lime juice,
cilantro, cumin, salt and pepper)
* coconut milkshakes (vanilla ice cream, coconut milk, toasted coconut)

All of them turned out great and I plan on making many more recipes/drinks in the future. I've been looking at the recipes on the Hamilton Beach website and will be giving some of them a try for sure.
Cleaning is so easy with the One touch auto clean program
add 2 cups warm water and 2 drops of dish soap turn dial to "clean" and let it do the rest. Really couldn't be easier.

GREAT BLENDER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my blender a few weeks ago and I love it. I wish I had gotten one like this instead of the other one I bought. I like to make smoothies for breakfast and was very impressed because this blender mixed the flax and chia seeds well. There was not grit from the seeds or the strawberries. It was very smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been fun experimenting with this blender over the past couple of weeks! From pesto to margaritas to smoothies, this blender has performed to my best expectations. The power has been more than enough for any job I have tried. I was initially concerned with the all in one construction of the blender jar/blade assembly and whether I could get it clean after use, but the cleaning program impressed both my husband and me! Definitely a quality product.

I need more recipes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm super excited about this programmable professional blender! I never thought I'd have use for one but I was wrong! I'm not a smoothie drinker but it's great for salsa. Next I'm trying hummus and in winter it will be squash soups.

Professional Quality Worth The Investment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you think of blenders, many people just think smoothies that are made now. This Blender will bring your meals to the next level. Yes it makes great smoothies and has powerful blades but it's much more than expected.
I had never made a soup before as my old Blender wouldn't have blended the ingredients smoothly nor would a pulse option add the cream evenly without over blending. This machine allows the food to naturally fall to the blades to blend evenly with a slow start up. Then it has a timer so you know exactly the amount of time you are mixing without going over the time to the second! The top of the Blender has two openings, so that in adding a liquid such as a cream to soup, you don't have to pull the center lid off risking a mess coming up thru the hole. Just pour over the top area and the liquid flows evenly into your food blending. I made a wonderful cauliflower soup and it was wonderful.
The Blender is constructed in a solid piece with the blades mounted in the cup rather than two pieces. It has a clean cycle to clean up even the most sticky foods without pulling it apart or cutting your fingers on the blades as in the typical Blender.
