Perfect for me

Replaced my 30 year old version of the same fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took about 2 1/2 months to receive it because it was backordered, but once delivered, I could see it was the same as my older version, just 30 years newer! It runs very quietly, the lighting is nice and bright, and although it seems a bit bigger inside than my old one, it fits perfectly in the old refrigerator's location.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it but wish the doors didn't swing open so forcefully. I thought maybe the frig was unbalanced but the tech said that that is how the doors are made. I just feel like every time I get in the refrigerator side, especially, since it is a larger door, that I have to hold onto the door while I remove my items as I don't like it opening all the way so forcefully. Seems like it would wear out the door's mechanism on the top sooner. Also, the wheels on this refrigerator/freezer travel backward and forward too easily so the technician put some kind of tape on my floor to stop the wheels from moving forward so easily. He said he didn't know if that would keep it from "traveling" but that was all he could think of to stop it from coming forward when I opened the doors. It did not travel forward each time it was opened but more than I would have liked. Also, it's a smaller unit, only 33 inches wide, and the cold air in the freezer section comes through vents right in back of where you might put some frozen foods. My model does not have an ice maker or water filter. The freezer portion on this model is on the smaller side, and I have to keep the prepared meals a couple inches away from those vents along its back wall so as not to over freeze the meals, which also even applies to other shelves in the freezer, cutting down on the limited space.

Great refrigerator

It's Okay - Wheels, Doors, and Vents Disappoint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wheels don't stay stationary so the frig/freezer easily travels forward when you open the doors. The doors don't stay stationary when you open them. They swing rapidly either to the right or left which makes it seem like the top hinges will wear out quickly. The vents that bring in the cold air in the freezer and right behind your frozen foods on a couple of the shelves, so you lose a little space, which is already limited, because you don't want that frigid air blowing directly on your frozen food. I didn't have too many frig/freezer choices since this was a 33" width. I even chose this one that does not have an ice maker or water filter and the space is very small. So far, it is keeping the frig/freezer at the proper temperatures. The inside lights are nice and bright.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Temperature setting & door
