Replaced faithful 24 year old Amana

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the new refrigerator less than two weeks, in that short time it’s been a welcome addition to our kitchen. It has dispelled reviews I read about workmanship quality (it’s handsome and well put together) noisy motor (it’s quiet when running, unnoticeable) so far it’s been great. Freezer freezes and refrigerator cools. The interior is bright and everything that we had in our old refrigerator fits just fine. Hopefully you’ll come back next year and ask me for another review.

Disappointing experience.

New fridge was delivered on Saturday; after 24 hours of waiting, both fridge and freezer sides were not very cold... unplugged and plugged back again to restart. Now, the bottom 2 shelves of the freezer are super cold, upper half is not. Bottom shelf of fridge will freeze, shelf above is around 30 degrees, and everything above is over 40....
either got a dud, or terrible circulation. WE called for service on Monday, and the next available appt is for NEXT Thursday, the 8th. :( Really disappointed Whirlpool... :( IF this isn't fixed, will definitely go with another brand.

Generally disappointed, but no other option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand/model was the only option that would fit our space (very disappointing because I wanted the freezer drawer on the bottom). It is noisy. We had to find our own solution to keep it from rolling forward every time the refrigerator door was opened (a thin wooden wedge, shortened, painted on the exposed end and positioned under the freezer caster). Even if there had been a castor lock, we could not have engaged it until the unit was pushed into position (impossible). The stainless steel surface has an uneven, smeary appearance (from the beginning). Washing, rinsing and polishing as directed with microfiber cloths has not resolved that issue. I miss my deli drawer! The freezer section is narrower, and I’m still assessing that issue. Otherwise, I appreciate the rimless shelves and the fact that it does appear to keep food properly chilled/frozen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of convenient storage in this refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is a nice size- not too big and not too small - and the shelving units provide convenient storage for all of our refrigerator items. The door bins do not seem really strong so I would like to see stronger shelving but we are storing lighter items in the door. I would also like to see pull out baskets in the freezer so that meats,juices etc could be stacked inside and pulled out rather than slipping out from a pile on a shelf.
