Whirlpool Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is not as well made or solid as the one we purchased 26 years ago. Fewer shelves in the freezer and fridge. Not as many levels that shelves can be moved to, no lunch meat drawer and door shelves flimsy. Unfortunately it was the only fridge that fit our space, otherwise would have not purchased. Fridge stopped working after 3 weeks. Repair service told us the vents in the freezers may have been blocked with food and we lost some of our frozen meat. At the time the freezer was about 60% food. It’s unfortunate as Whirlpool used to make more solid appliances in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Good, but Full of Rust

I bought this fridge about three years ago and it's covered with rust. Is anyone else having this issue? It started about a month after purchasing and continues to get worse. I clean it with the approved cleaner. Functionally it's fine, but side bins fall out from time to time and crack easily.

DOES NOT SEEM TO COOL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in February 2023, had delivery scheduled in March 2023, only to be informed delivery was rescheduled to April 2023 when I was already scheduled to be absent for a month long trip; fortunately a friend was able to accept the delivery during my absence.
Upon returning home, I noticed the motor almost continually running! I called Whirlpool only to be informed "some models are built that way" and mine was one of them! If I had known this fact, I would have reconsidered my purchase of this model.
Having now had this refrigerator a couple months, I have noticed that the 'recommended' setting for cooling is sub-par, my fluids are not cold like all my other refrigerators cooled nicely (Kenmore). Furthermore, my ice cream is not solid in the freezer; it scoops out of the container like it's almost room temperature butter! I also notice that my ice cubes in the storage box appear shiny like it might have nearly started to melt only to freeze again.
I am very disappointed with the performance of this refrigerator.

The size fits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doors are uneven and the tool to fix this was not in the box as indicated. The humming sound from the motors alittle annoying. And I don't know why the white fixture shows at the bottom. Pictures added.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whirlpool makes a quality fridge and this one has lots of shelf storage on both sides. Nice set up & good use of space. However door pockets on freezer side are too small to be useful and I find the door width insufficient when reaching inside with only 1 door open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roomy and Works Great!

I thought I had exactly the same fridge before this one, but the interior of this current model is roomier somehow, though the external dimensions are the same. It works well, and I love the depth of the door shelves, which are much deeper than in my old fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge as a replacement for a Kenmore model that served 20 years give or take. It was nice to find and purchase a white coloured side by side without an ice maker which gives added freezer space. I initially had bought the 25 cubic foot model but, unfortunately, the model was just under an inch too high for installation. This fridge has been in operation for over a month now and so far, so good. It’s spacious enough for my household. Upon plugging the unit, I haven’t changed the factory default settings. Beverages and milk from the fridge are refreshingly cold. The freezer keeps the ice cream at nice texture. No room for negative comments here. I have 4 stars because I couldn’t pull the grill off to level the front feet. I feel that if I try pulling the grill off, it feels as if I’ll break it. It’s okay as added weight of items stored in the fridge and freezer section have seemed to help but, it still needs adjustment. For the most part, I’m happy so far and hope to get years of reliability from this appliance.
I would recommend this to a friend!
