[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research on the types of black exteriors, I settled for this one. It is easy to wipe down to remove fingerprints, etc. The doors have deep, adjustable shelves which are handy. We like the fact that the interior light is on the top of the refrigerator rather than on the inside wall. The bulb is bright so that you can see everything at once. My only regret is that I couldn’t get a wider model like this one in a similar depth. Kudos to the local Whirlpool service team who came quickly to fix the improperly installed (Best Buy) ice maker.

However, the two bottom drawers don't slide smoothly and I miss having a drawer below the top shelf.

Good simple fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this more than a month ago and it still works fine. Since my over 25 years Maytag needed to be retired so I had to get a new one, this Whirlpool side by side door is the ONLY thing could fit in the area under the cabinets in my old style kitchen, even my kitchen is big just we are unable to take others. I was nervous about it as of some bad reviews but so far so good. It has sounds but I get what I paid for and my family ok with that. I love the shelves they are glass not plastic. One big improvement can be made is the top shelf in the fridge side is missing (to me), I meant I don’t need to always store tall wine or huge cake, this is what other reviews said so too, I rather to have egg storage space.
