Awesome sound, BUT unreliable connectivity

I was hugely excited when I found this product. I really love the JBL sound and own several of their portable speakers. This device didn't disappoint in that department - impressively strong bass presence in a small package.
However, this is completely overshadowed by a poor implementation of Chromecast. It is generally unreliable and disconnects randomly. Sometimes I can't even get it to work without restarting it.

This is very, very disappointing and I really hope this can be resolved soon. For now, this is going back to the store for a refund...

Just a masterpiece!

I got my Playlist delivered a few days ago and, to be honest, even from the packaging I considered that the stuff will do much for me in the practice.
I really started enjoying listening to Chromecast audio with this speakers, not only that, with charming crystal-clear audio quality and studio-filler bass entity.

Abandoned by google

The sound is great, but unfortunately the built-in chromecast has been abandoned by google so there have been no updates for it in ages, and it is old, unreliable and missing the "new" features of a regular chromecast audio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for Chromecast

Got three of these for my two-bedroom apartment. Initial setup is annoying and had to retry a couple of times, but once set up, they're exactly in sync across the apartment. It's magic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So bad!!! I was extremely excited to get a new bluetooth speaker for my apartment- After turning it on I couldn't keep a connection and my music kept stopping every 5 seconds. Really bad product. Don't buy.

JBL Playlist - ok sound, problems with connectivit

As many said - sound is OK for such a small box, but Chomecast and blutetooth are heck of a trouble to setup - have to try few times to successfully connect. Even had to reset few times. After chromecast is connected it works ok. Bluetooth is another issue. It disconnects, turns itself on and off...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sounding Speaker

I bought this speaker about a month ago, and the family really loves it. We keep it in the kitchen for anyone to connect to it. It has really clear highs and a nice deep bass, it has a perfect sound at all volume levels. I also have it connected to my google assistant which allows me to include it in my whole house speaker group. Like when i am just working on the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!
